What do we need to find out? For me, it is that no one has been injured. I would play the 22 guys that are to be cut for the entire game.

Seriously, Belichick has decisons to make on the OL, but I don't think playing in this game will help much in evaluating the players.
=====

Well, I guess the snapper, punter and kicker would play.

Can we devise a full defesnive and offensive roster out of 22 players likely to be cut?

And that's not a bad thing at all.

Seriously, though, I really prefer Evan Williams for every day drinking. Maker's Mark in a pinch.

But I agree with the OP: All I want to see is no injuries to anyone we plan on keeping on the team, and enough play to make the game interesting.

I'd like to see D Lewis and Cunningham play. Any of our ambulance chasing writers staked out Cunningham?

Wouldn't be a bad game for Okeedokee, our new Olineman to get some snaps, especially since he'll have a week off.

As one poster said elsewhere, let's look forward to seeing the Foxboro mailroom clerks play for the Patriots in the Final game.

As previously stated, first and foremost: no injuries.

Agreed on Cunningham...hopefully injury allows him to play before the Brace haters find a new target :rolleyes:

The score of the game doesn't matter, what matters is that the have improved upon the flaws in their play from last week. They need better pushes and penetration from the D-Linemen, smarter play from the LBs, and better thinking and fundementals from the DBs. The bubble guys need to improve on special teams. Zoltan needs to focus on getting the ball back within the 20 again. The coverage teams needs to work on their tackling and the return teams need to work on their blocking.

I'd like to see Maroney start against the Giant's 3rd stringers and blow them up. The board cheers :youtheman: and Troy Brown retracts his Maroney being cut comment.

Lewis played in the last game.. To say that he didn't have a good night is being nice to him.. He doesn't seem to be stout enough to handle playing end in the 3-4..

I haven't noticed him. I have heard things, but people tend to over react. If he can't help, we need a low rounder or a FA to step in and I'm not real optimistic.

He only started practicing again Monday.

WSih the emergence of Brace, Lewis is at best the 5th DL, which would only get him a handful of snaps. Considering that for some reason that I cant figure outm, they seem to like Pryor as a pass rusher Lewis is more likley 6th, competing against Deadrick for that. 6th DL rarely even sees the field, so there really isnt anything to step in for.

I'd like to see Deadrick beat out Lewis on Deadrick's own merits but realisticly Dea should clear waivers for the PS as a good developmental DL prospect.
