So how would you feel about Tim Tebow as our first round pick??

Unlikely.

Brady has probably 2-3 more yrs. I think in 2011/2012 NFL draft, a QB will be in the cards.

I'm not convinced that Hoyer is the solution.

Also, one key in all this QB thing, is to have a very good QB coach (ala McDaniels type). This is essential in molding a rookie QB.

In 2010 NFL draft, need a stud DE/OLB and a stud OG. 1st or 2nd rounder.

6th/7th rounder, get a Punter, please.

As a Gator fan, I would love to see Tebow taken with a second or third round (I know we don't have one of these) picks. IMO, he would be an excellent H-Back or TE. I really do not think he will be a quarterback in this league... at all. I've watched him every game since 2006. Can they work on his mechanics? Sure. Can he work on his accuracy? Probably. But the kid has absolutely NO touch on the football whatsoever. He throws ducks with nothing behind them most of the time. That won't get the job done at the NFL level.

Tim is a great guy however he will be a back up TE somewhere not a starting QB and not a first round pick.

Well according the nfl network, some scouts think we will take him with our first round pick...?? Would love to hear the reaction to that if it happens...

I would throw up in my mouth. LOL. That is so NOT gonna happen. I'd rather go with a defensive player early.

I wouldnt use a 1st on him. I would use our 3rd 2nd round pick though.

I think I would make a lot of people happy on this board and give up on the Pats if they select Tebow anywhere in the beginning of the draft.

The pats would be lucky to get a fifth rnd pick for AD, he has a fat contract and hasn't ever come close to earning it.

Again, it's not his salary cap that matters, but how much he is still owed. $5M/yr is not a vast amount.

Vomit is the word that came to mind for me, too.

I think you are wrong, but we shall see.

Look at Philip Rivers, he is a mechanical mess, but yet he wins.

Like Percy Harvin, fred taylor, and countless others.

No like Rex Grossman, Chad Jackson, Jarvis Moss, Reggie Nelson, Reche Caldwell (although I liked having him in NE). Sure they have had their share of stars but the Chad Jackson failure has left a sour taste in my mouth. Honestly, Tebow is going to get picked up by the Jags in a pathetic attempt to get people to come to their games. Then when they realize he sucks at QB he'll ride the pine as a blocking TE or be put on IR.

Hide my belt and shoelaces!

And Im sure Gholston has left a bad taste in Jets fans mouths but honestly I dont see them complaining if they pick another OSU player. With the amount of players Florida puts out, they are bound to have busts just like any other school.

Not nearly as much as Tebow is. Ever wonder why Tebow ****s back so far before throwing a pass? It's because he does not have a good arm and has absolutely zero touch on a ball. Once again, I am a Gator fan and have been all my life and I love the kid, but he's just not going to be an NFL quarterback.
