I like the Sports Hub. They cover a wider spectrum of sports. Yeah it can be stupid at times but for the most part they do OK.

I like baseball but EEI's incessant Red Sox talk turns me off. Mike Adams tries to be funny but isn't. I remember when he first got the gig they tried that stupid on-air stunt with him that he took over the studio and wasn't coming out until he got the job. EEI even had people post on this message board telling people to go listen, making like it was real. LAME!

WEEI is a nationally recognized sports talk station. One of the few in the country. This hub is johnny-come-lately. Flavor of the month. Has big shoes to fill. Okay, I just ran out of cliches, but they won't win over the city very easy.

Personally, I think WEEI is crap radio with too many commercials. I have never heard the Hub so I can't vote.

EEI's afternoon show takes callers that should be in mental wards and then scream over them to make themselves feel better about themselves.

I love EEI so much I'm looking into an iPhone so that I can listen to it clearly in the car instead of the static we sometimes get here in NS.

In the Southcoast. I stream 98.5. On the radio I can chose from WEEI-FM at 103.7 fm or a local station that carries E!SPN radio.

Even on Patriots monday - this week I understand there was a bye -
The Big Show had more @$%& Yankee talk than the #$%^& national guys. I'm not down on baseball, but Yankees? On a Boston station?

I'd rather listen to "Will Boise State make the BCS" as opposed to "Will the Yankees let Johnny Damon go?"

Yes, everyone wants to hear DeOssie break down the Yankees payroll.

Both stations are available through free apps on the iPhone. That being said, I listen to 'eei much more than the hub, the only show on 98.5 I can stomach is Damon Amendalara and I rarely listen to the radio at that time anyway.

WEEI is not all baseball....... it is well rounded. This **** is like hockey players from Canada that complain there are so few hockey highlights on ESPN. That happens @ my University very frequently. I rather have a well rounded station than a mainly FB station. I love FB and Baseball.....

I listen to WEEI on PATRIOTS monday. Between interviews with players the talk is about baseball.

You want an old example? Tedy Bruschi comes back from a durn stroke but Patriots monday is about The Red Sox GM. Would they ever have a day in July about Scott Pioli?

You want a current example? This monday WEEI for a long segment was Glenn Ordway leading a discussion of the YANKEES potential off season moves. They MIGHT make a move for the Red Sox shortstop.

The Yankees will not be bidding for Merriweather.

In stead of paying $700 for a diagnosis of my electrical system I want to know about pouring 12 ounces of Coke on my battery terminals.
