Wearing throwback uniforms this week

I'm in the minority I guess, I love the throwbacks. Reminds me of watching the games when I was little. I am especially excited about the December 6th game.. Throwbacks around Thanksgiving/Christmas time... I love it.

It's not sacrilege. I hate them too. But not because they make the players look small and weak, but because they are huge bad luck charms. They promote 30 years of losing and one of the worst Super Bowl blowouts of all time when we finally did have a good season wearing them. I like the colors, all in all. But I'd feel much better with the team wearing the new uniforms.

I'm with you. I like having different uniforms from time to time to break up the monotony. I know a lot of people on this board preferred the silver uniforms for that reason too.

Why don't they wear the throwbacks only in pre-season?

That way the novelty of it isn't wasted on a real game, and it gives a little more interest to the meaningless games.

Good point. Nevertheless, though, it causes bad luck to my heart watching a game like that.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the throwbacks anymore. I was excited for them for the opener but was quickly reminded why I was glad they got rid of them.

1st of all Tim Fox was not on the 86 super bowl team.....

But I love the throwbacks, reminds me of when I was a kid in the 80's watching the games with my Dad.

But I like the 80's throwbacks they wore verses the Lions on thanksgiving.

Pat the Patriots is the greatest sports logo of all time....

I'm also excited to see the Tampa Bucs throwbacks this year!
