The Joey Galloway/Tom Brady combo gets my vote. Either get your timing down or get off the team. I am not sophisticated enough to know which of these two was off when, but if he had caught the 4 (I think) passes thrown his way on 3rd down, we might have won the game. They should have planned earlier that they were not going to have Welker. They said on the TV that he was a game-time decision and it was as if Brady didn't have one of his binkies (and then didn't have the other one because he became invisible) and panicked.

The play-calling stunk too. If Brady is having so much trouble, why do you abandon the run and Fred Taylor? Where's the hurry-up that worked pretty well in the 1st half?

I didn't have any problem with the D. They only gave up 16 points and much of it came late when they were tired and the O was doing NOTHING except constantly getting off the field.

Whew, I'm done.

Why isn't anyone naming Moss as a disapointment? Is he paid to be only a decoy these days?

I do not understand the Maroney bashers. At All.

I hear where you're coming from about Moss, as I was particularly disappointed with his inabilty to fight Revis for the INT. Last week IIRC, he may have done the same thing.

I think he was pretty well blanketed by Revis, who is really very good, yet there are many other WR's who seem to get open no matter what--coverage be damned. I think guys like Holmes, Wayne, Fitzgerald, etc are pretty well doubled too, so I think he could and should get open more. There must be some timing plays or cut routes, or something that he can do to get open. I would've liked to see the replays sometimes from the overhead view to get a better read on his coverage etc, before I call him out, but I do hear what you're getting at. The thought has crossed my mind too, although even if we are paying him to sometimes be a decoy, there should be guys like Galloway etc who are open somewhere. That may be the problem a little more, maybe.

Anyway, I just think Randy's one of those guys who you don't call out too much based on sheer talent and past performance. Regardless, they'll get their timing down I'm sure. Hopefully it's real soon, like on Sunday

Moss was double covered the entire game by Revis with a safety rolling to his side and at times, TRIPLE covered with a LB. Brady missed wide open TD throws he normally makes with ease. DeOssie and Smerlas covered the entire defensive scheme thrown at the Pats on yesterday's Big Show.

The open receivers were the slot and Galloway, but with Brady having what was measured at under 2 seconds to throw from the pocket, deep patterns were almost extinct. It was the Jet pressure that made the offense look bad.

what did they suggest the Pats shouldve done? 2TE formations, and run it more?

I hate that you guys get all the Pats shows up there, and im stuck listening to the damn Titan shows.

All I kept hearing about during the game was "Revis Island" and how he was blanketing Moss 1 on 1. They didn't mention safety help, but I presumed it was there. Now you've confirmed it. In that case, how about having Moss run some slants or routes from in motion.

I don't understand why Moss seems to have ceased being open often since December 2007.

Actually, the local sports radio kept saying that all day, and it drove me nuts. I kept wanting to call in, and tell them about the safety that was helping Revis. What a joke. AND, why the hell was a Nashville radio show bashing the Pats anyway??? Their team f'd up sunday too.

you can access WEEI on the net, including all shows live. What I do is open the link, connect and minimize it,so I can keep working on whatever I have to while listening to the different shows during the day. Each time slot has its own guests for the day.Following Patriot games you always get Brady in the morning, various other players during the Dale and Holley slot and BB on the Big Show. What makes it a good source for TRUE information is the fact that DeOssie and Smerlas have both played in the NFL and have as good a knowledge base as any of the so called JSPN "analysts".
