USA Today columnist is now calling it the Vick-Belichick connection

Why would anyone want him, there are punters out there with better accuracy

If he already has Tony Dungy then why does everyone think he needs BB? Who knows where this all ends up...
Well said!:agree: And IMO, who cares where he ends up. The circus that would come with his signing would just be chaos. He was a great athlete, fun to watch, etc...but not even a good qb.

Today even Tony Dungy, in talking to Peter King, said he is not in it to get Vick back on the field. In fact he now believes it is more important to see Vick reconnect with his family and be a father to his 3 children by two different women, his ex wife and his finacee... And that may not be an easy thng to do considering that his last attempt at a bankrupcy plan called for the ex and his son to move in with her folks so he and the finacee and their girls could remain in the lone multi million dollar home he wished to retain. So that may well be Dungy shorthand directed at his former peers for I'm tryin' to publicly save his soul fellas, not force you to hand him back a career where he makes us all look like jackasses...

Michael told the bankrupcy judge several weeks ago that he still anticipated a return to the NFL as a $10M a year player. I don't think any of the BS Mike has subjected himself to in order to get reinstated ever had anything to do with anything other than that goal... The judge told him to get real and plan on restructuring his debt based on being a $10/hr laborer. I bet Mike believes he was wacked. In fact he only lasted on that laborer's job for two weeks...before some kind soul got him a job at a boys and girls Club...where he probably spent whatever time he put in on the phone talking up his reinstatement advisors.

Is that job like being a community organizer?

No comment by Kraft et. al. is the best policy. Why? Because once you start commenting on rumors, then any future non-comments on just about any common, wacko rumor of the week then get read as attempts to hide something. Rational observers of the Patriots understand the benefits.

True, true, true ...

If the Pats are up 30-3 in the 4th quarter, who is better than Vick to come in and run up the score? Ohhhh, can't you just smell the hate?

I couldn't care less if the Pats confirm or deny the rumors or not. I don't think the Pats would add Vick and I don't think Belichick cares if all of the media is speculating about Vick. The more they focus on Vick to the Pats, it draws media attention away from other issues that might distract players like position battles, Brady's return, etc. So let them chase their tails on the Vick story.

Sweet - now that BB and Vick are BFFs, anything can happen. Their "connection" could lead to the dumping of the Romo-like dissappointment we call Brady.

PTI now did a "Vick: Good Fit for the Patriots?" as their third topic today.

This is assinine.. We dont need Vick, I dont think we want him and hope he stays the hell away from Foxboro..
