Yikes, I've created a monster.

I'll debate the Watson-Maroney comment : here's the thing... Watson & Maroney have an excellent chance of making the team (hardly dare to go 100%, 'cause someone'll use it against me). And so - if they're both on the team - I suspect BB will use them in the regular rotation AT LEAST early on. So... in a league with a 16 game sched, all games are important and therefore Maroney & Watson will play at significant times.

If you meant they won't be used come playoff time, then I guess I can't say with certainty that I disagree, though I fully expect Maroney to be given every chance to right the ship. Watson maybe less, seeing as how they picked up 2 decent TEs in the offseason.

Are you sure? I know the 'join dates' got messed up but I'm pretty sure the hack attack was in 2005. The Carolina Cheerleader incident happened in November 2005 and as I recall the board was victimized a month or two later. It couldn't have happened in 2004 if Carolina played Tampa in 2005.

To be fair, I still think that Jackson *could* have developed into an exceptional receiver if he hadn't blown out his knee. Even then, though, it would have been an uphill battle since it's not easy to nail down the nuances of the position, and what little I heard from/about him indicated that he might not have the work ethic to pull it off.

Friggin Chad. I also think it was a work ethic problem - he're the deal : BB basically chose Ventrone over Jackson. I think that says it all. But here's what I like. Unlike other coaches in Mass (to be fair, a very successful one, but kinda loyal for my liking) BB doesn't give you 50 chances. You can screw up once in a while, but if you ARE a screw up - it's over.
