Has Ellerbe gotten his legal troubles straightened out?

Are these very recent legal troubles? If so I wasn't aware of them, I know he is a risk but he is talented and as we know guys change when they join the Patriots. He had injury problems as well but wouldn't he be worth taking at this stage and get a good look at him and even if he has legal troubles and the work out and he proves himself you could have a real gem.

Ok so if everyone types Mor-STEAD! As the #234 pick comes up, will it happen?

Hey guys we just got Dewayne Robertson for a 6th rounder... LOL.

Explosive defensive lineman who has been likened to former Wildcat and first-round NFL draft choice Dewayne Robertson ...

National Football League: NFL Draft 2009 - Myron Pryor

I bet the Jets wish that's all they had paid for Robertson!

It almost feels like they have stopped taking the picks seriously or something.
I think that the Pats might feel like they picked up the players that they wanted yesterday. If they get 2 or 3 players on day two to contribute, then, I think that they will be satisfied. Some of these last few picks look like UDFAs to me. We'll see.

I've got a good idea, we can start making mental picks, like that sound totally not gonna happen and somebody will be considered a genius draft predictor by the end of it.

I'm gonna guess now that we take another long snapper, a kicker and we will trade back in for another defensive tackle.

The National Football Post | Scout’s Eye: Combine Breakdown 2

Also moving up in the defensive line rankings are tackles Evander Hood from Missouri and Myron Pryor from Kentucky. Hood was already viewed as a likely second-round pick, but after a strong showing Monday, which included a sub-5.0 time in the 40 and 34 reps on the bench, he might be making a run toward the latter portions of round one. Pryor, on the other hand, is considered more of a late-round guy, but he displayed excellent foot quickness, body control and punch during position drills. His 5.1 40 time was enough to impress scouts, and with the nose tackle class as weak as it is, Pryor may have guaranteed himself a spot the mid/late rounds.

Highest on their board available...

The Saints took him in the 5th round.

Wow a 5th rounder on a punter. Hmm sounds about right. I have no idea then. Jennings at #234?

I'm still shocked we haven't taken a TE or at least a TE hybrid.

Ks and Ps have reliably started coming off the board in the fourth and fifth rounds for several years now. And, for reasons I don't fully understand, as often as not, the Ps have started coming off the board before the Ks.

I am with you I really cannot believe that Jenning is still out there to be picked up.

Was there an injury or legal troubles I didn't hear about with Jennings?

I'm not sure what is more odd, Ohmberger going to the Pats ahead of of Cadogan or the fact that Cadogan is still there in the seventh.

What would be funny is if we waited until pick #234 came around and then twitter announces Pats trade it for 2010 6th rounder. LOL.

Pryor is ranked in the 400's by NFLDraftscout which is 200 places higher than Bussey.

Rashad Jennings is a transfer from Pittsburgh, but he didn't switch schools because he couldn't keep up; he had family issues to deal with. At Liberty, Jennings totaled 1,113 yards and 15 touchdowns.

I had him going in the second or third round. He has great size but runs a little high is my only knock on him.

We have two picks this round at 232 and 234 and I hope they get him or Devin Moore at least so I do not drink myself to death tonight

I like the pick. Some nice depth. I'm sure he'll find his way into a backup roll. Hopefully a quality starter one day. Question do we have a guy of his size on our practice squad now? I have to admit he is interesting.

God he is fast. Look at the shuttle time on that kid. And that 8 second 3 cone drill lol

Liking the NT depth- wonder if this means that they think Wilfork is going to cost too much...
