| Christian Barmore was a ‘disruptive’ force in 2025. The Patriots think he can be even better next season. |

OK . . . let's get it out on the record.
If it has to be one or the other, who would you rather have--Barwin or Matthews?
I actually have him as Tedy's replacement rather than Mike's. With him and Mayo that woudl be an awesome pair of ILB's and Guyton could swing to OLB.
"Prefers to run around blocks rather than take them on. While he improved as the year went on, remains a work in progress in disengaging from blocks."Mathews is the lowest risks between the 2. Why? Because he has actually played the position.

As long as both of them stay ranked in the 20's the Patriots have the ammo to get both. Now that would be a happy day.

Yeh, he sounds just like Tedy and Ted.
Though I grant you his rookie haircut would be most interesting...so, does Clay Jr. replace the void in your heart ever since the Jesters stole Ghoslton?
Now, you know that last year that I had no true love. I dated a lot and was fond of many, but 10 days before the draft I gave my heart to Mayo. The year before it was Patrick Willis.
Now your quote from NFLDRAFTSCOUT can be offset by just the opposite statement form Nolan a Pro Football Weekly.
I see a smear campaign againts Matthews from the Barwin cultist. While us Matthews supporters have nothing but kind words Barwin ( too bad he can't hear them)
We are taking the high road.:gossip:

It's true, binkying on Barwin doesn't make Matthews a bad prospect. I actually really like him, I just don't see him as #23 value, in large part because he's only 240 lbs. (And BB passed on Lawson, a more productive 240-pounder, around the same spot in the draft.)
And you only came over to Mayo because I'd been touting him and you finally started reading the many criticisms of Gholston and panicked. Nawrocky knows 3-4 like you know Playmate of the Month, he's seen pictures. Now, you know that last year that I had no true love.
