I'm guessing "slacking off at work" doesn't quite cut it compared to the previous explanations.
I hate it when that happens...it's so hard to get good help.Personally, I'm self-employed and totally short-shrifting myself.
Pioli later admitted that they messed up not drafting Gary.Just to add - how in the name of God did he go undrafted??
There were a lot of people here who were disappointed that Rey Maualuga was not coming out last year. Now I see a lot of people who want nothing to do with him (for the pats). Did something change over the last year, or just more film come out and expose his weaknesses? Thanks.
Not for me, he is what I thought he was two years ago - a 4-3 MLB and a poor fit for NE.There were a lot of people here who were disappointed that Rey Maualuga was not coming out last year. Same could be said of Laurainatis. I for one have both just a notch below Aaron Curry. That notch got a little widder after yesterday lol but still have them both in the mid 1st range.
I just got promoted to the main NE territory guy for my company, so I have a ton of leeway. I now work from my condo most days I'm not on the road, I'm 23, single and without kids, so obligations from the homestead are fairly minimal. I'm lucky enough to work for a company that only cares about results, and as long as I continue to do 150% of my commit, I should be able to continue my shenanigans.

The same way that Wes Welker went undrafted and Tom Brady lasted until #199 (remember, Brady had just set a record for completions in the Orange Bowl, and Welker was one of the most productive players in the NCAA his last year).
I liked the fact that his coach was using him to "plug-in" wherever there was a need. That certainly affected how he was perceived, happily for NE.The interesting thing about Guyton is that he's the opposite of those two. They were productive on the field, but passed over because of their measurables and physiques. Guyton had the body but not the production. Just goes to show you that there's no magic formula.
(Probably the biggest problem for Guyton was just that he spent so much time out of position at OLB.)
Dude, put it in the Pro-Day thread! :nono:Not quite "combine" news, but Florida Atlantic had their pro day today and Frantz Joseph ran a 4.85 40. The Pats apparently didn't send a team representative.

Bottom of the page already... :confused2:Didn't realize we had one already. Sorry.
