Apparently winning 9 out of 10 is a fraud, I don't care if the schedule was easy?????? Its hard to win every sunday especially if you're franchise was so use to losing.

I'm all for saying NE is a better football team when Brady is playing but man those sour grapes must taste awful that Miami outlasted NE this year.

Like as if being the best team this past decade isn't enough. Talk about poor sportsmanship.

Next year is a new year and we'll see what it turns into.

I was talking about NEXT YEAR, ok. The Pats did the best they could and they were eliminated on the 4th tiebreaker. Next year will be different. If the Pats don't win the division by at least 2 games I will be surprised.

Kudos to Sparano/Tuna for thinking that one up, but the Fins were found out in the rematch.

And, it wasn't Tuna and Sparano who are responsible for "thinking that one up." Pop Warner first used it in 1920, give or take a few years, when it was called the Single-Wing formation. Sparano's twist is to put the QB on the wing.

When was it employed in any real effective manner last in the NFL on a regular basis? My comment was when we forced them to become a "traditional" offense by containing their Wildcat formation, we were clearly the superior team.

And for the record, most "new" ideas are often "old" ideas. Don't assume I don't know that. Tuna & Sparano identified it as a useful tool to be employed didn't they?

For the most part, I agree. But we were also without two key players, Rosevelt Colvin and Sammy Morris, who I think could've made a big difference.
