Official Dolphins/Ravens Wild Card playoff discussion

I believe 3 of their 4 LBs are not under contract for next year. Anyone know about their cap situration?

I think they are one of the worst teams off in terms of being under the cap for '09. Don't quote me on that though.

The key to beating Baltimore is hurting them deep. Miami can't do that and I think the Pats could do very well.

Amen, and I'm not sure that we would have been able to beat them either.

We would've needed a few breaks in that one I think. This Ravens team is primed plus there's some bad blood too lol. That would be one NASTY game imo-not sure we could have pulled it off this year. We were hurting in the depth department.

No doubt in my mind we could have beaten them in Foxboro. Baltimore's D is nasty but our's was starting to turn it up a notch at the end of the year. Plus, we have the kind of offense that can give them fits.

I expect Baltimore to run away with the game in the second half. Miami looks overmatched.

Not sure but I just looked up Reed's contract and he is pulling 605k this season. Granted the bigger money kicks in after this year thru 2012, but the fact that Ed Reed is being paid less than a million dollars is amazing to me. Seems like he's been making plays forever.

That is correct, Ray Lewis, Bart Scott, and Suggs are due to be FA's, Suggs is most likely to get the franchise tag if a deal cannot be reached.

Oh true. But we had depth issues and playing a tough, physical team like the Ravens wouldn't be a cakewalk. Maybe I'm just injury-paranoid this year-can't imagine why though

Would anybody be suprised if BB picked up Ray Lewis for a one or two year deal? At this point, I think Suggs is out of the question but Ray Lewis still has quite a bit left in the tank and hits like a mack truck, plays i a 3-4, and is a veteran. All Belichick qualities.

Another pick! This is lookin' good.

Another pick by Pennington. This is awesome.

Pennington's lack of arm strength and the lack of decent receivers on the Dolphins are two problems that are really being exposed here.

ANOTHER PICK!! Pennington is clearly rattled. Why is he going vertical all of the sudden? That's not your game, Chaddy boy.

Miami SHOULD be overmatched......they played hardly ANYONE all year..........and are weak all over the place....who is their #1 WR? Ted Ginn Jr.......??? Puhleese.....only reason the doofins are in this game is A) Easiest schedule in the league.......and B) Baltimore fumble first series on the 50 yard line...........Baltimore is the far better team......Pats would beat both of these teams at this point in the season..........JMHO!!!!

I wouldn't be surprised. I'm pretty confident they sign Lewis and let Scott go so I doubt there is any chance of BB getting him here.

I think Suggs is out of the question also he will be 1st on Baltimore's priority to resign. I wouldnt be surprised if Lewis or Scott were picked up this offseason, although I would prefer Lewis over Scott even though hes older the man can still play at a high level.

Penny. A couple of days ago I was making a case for him to be MVP lol
