You really do have to laugh at this.

If we go 11-5 and miss the playoffs, that will just be another chapter in my disenchantment with the NFL.

Those are the breaks if it happens....it's not just the top 6 teams.

Gotta love Jamie Dukes in the NFL.com broadcast. He asked whether "we'd see Steve Slaton tonight before McGahee's run." The answer was an "um, no...you mean Ray Rice?" Classic. Then I believe Dukes said Slaton is on Atlanta, which is wrong too. He's on Houston.

Agree. The 3rd and 15, Leon Washington's big return for a TD, the ball going through Gaffney's hands, Dave Thomas' unsportsmanlike penalty...we had our chances to control our fate.

Well, as it turned out yes, but if you said to anyone after Brady went down that we go 11-5 would you not automatically assume a playoff berth?

I mean, I'd feel a helluva lot more passionately about the "our fault" thing if half our team weren't on IR and we weren't pulling guys up off their couches to come play defense for us these last few weeks.
