How many "fans" here would bail on the Patriots if they go 8-8 or worse?

Actually I have an uncle with Down's syndrome. He's sweet, but he's still not very smart. But even he doesn't make assumptions about people without evidence.

Alright well let's get a picture of him in here as our "smiley" so we can stamp future threads for evidence of stupidity. Maybe the mods will make a "Strudel's Uncle" icon for us!

You should see some of the stuff he does - it's pretty stupid. Now picture the capable adult behaving the same way. That's a lot worse.

Hurrr. Let me make up some strawman to continue a false argument. Hurrr.

Where's the down's syndrome smiley, cause this thread needs one.

Here you go...

It's been fun to follow the Pats right from their opening season in 1960.

Back then any victory was very sweet. If they broke .500, there was

cause for a major celebration. I have been spoiled by their success in

recent years. Making the playoffs and extending their season is not

good enough for me. When they don't win the Superbowl, I am now

quite disappointed.

im a Pat for life

who's the Pats?

I don't find any enjoyment when watching Pats games lately because of pats's performance.

I hope a lot - it's very crowded

I rooted for them every game they went 1-15 in 1990. 8-8 would have sounded real good when i started rooting for the Patriots in the late 70s.

sure.........would root for them not matter what the record....... and not to forget the PATS get back TB next year.......

I have been a fan since the night the Bears killed them in the Superbowl.

Will be many years from now.

We just don't get a regular shipment of kool-aid where I live. I see the warts.

That's a horrid question...

I will never "bail" on my favorite sports team, but I can freely question and criticize their moves, execution, and decision making...

My sentiments exactly, i did not ''bail' when we were 1-15. An 8-8 record this year would not be bad considering no Brady, bad OL and bad D.
