For the most part, I agree.
However, regarding the "emerging star", there would be a reason to call Edelman that if he had Lloyd's numbers, while there isn't for Lloyd.
Lloyd turns 32 this year and is now entering his 11th season as an NFL WR. He played 4 years of HS and 4 years of Big-Ten College football as a WR.
Edelman is 26 and never played WR until he arrived in Foxboro less than 4 years ago.
Edelman still has not scratched the surface of his potential. We all pretty much know Lloyd's maximum ceiling.
If Edelman had 74 catches for 911 yards this season, I'd expect 120 REC and 1,400 YDS next. I don't have those expectations of lloyd. However, as I wrote before, I am more than happy with Lloyd as Branch's upgrade.
