My suspicion is that Cannon was brought off the reserve/NFI list primarily so that he can get the experience of participating in three weeks of practice before going on IR. While, by all accounts, Cannon didn't suffer from the side effects of chemotherapy as badly as most, but it generally takes a full year for your stamina to be back to normal and for the cognitive impairment to clear up. You don't hear as much about 'chemo brain' as you do the nausea, fatigue and weakness, but it's very real, and you don't want someone on the OL who is prone to confusion.
You do know that "chemo" is a very broad, very varied group of drugs, correct? The types, amount, infusion schedule, etc... all can vary significantly.
Do you know what form and strength of Chemo Cannon was on? Because if you don't, you're making a very general and sweeping statement about him having "chemo brain" and to what extent. Not trying to bust your balls, but applying generalizations to a specific case can be misleading.
