Sounds like you have some cool strats! I'm jealous Haha. The MIJ 68 reissue sounds cool. Of course the nice thing about modifying those stock guitars is that you then have a guitar with character. All my guitars are stock. I'm a Fender/Gibson guy when it comes to electrics.
I have a John Mayer signature strat in sunburst, which I love. If you haven't seen the The Mayer model, it has similar specs to the SRV sig. The biggest difference being the big dipper pickups. They Don't have the snarl of the Texas specials, the sound is very smooth. Then my main axe is a Gibson Les Paul standard in Iced tea finish which I've had since 2007... I'm also big into acoustics. I've had a low end martin for a while and last year I purchased a 00028ec which is my favorite guitar I own. I run my electrics through a marshal dsl50.
