I-G-L!
You know the little bee_atch Bob Costas is going to give one of his drippy monologues that soft sells the NFL's duplicitous behavior. Therefore, I will continue my tradition of skipping pregame shows and only tune in 1 minute prior to all kick offs. I will tevo this particular pregame in order to watch the banner drop...if NBC is allowed to air something positive about the Pats. I hope the crowd is unmerciful to every media member except Curan who deserves enshrinement into the Pats HOF for his tireless efforts in getting the real story right. Kraft should walk Curan and Steph and Florio and Kessler and Demaurice ...plus a few others out to the center of the field and let them have a moment....FRIENDS OF OURS......they deserve it. The fans would go bonkers
"Where is Mort" clap clap........clap clap clap
"Fire Mort" clap clap........clap clap clap
Is asking the scoreboard operator to show a burning Goodell effigy on screen too much?
At least show a video of Indy hoisting their 2014 Participation Banner
The goal is for the crowd to have some fun at the League's expense, but if you don't want to be ignored by the announcers and the media, you also have to "make news."
Everybody expects Patriots Fans to chant things like "Fire Roger," so that's fun and should be done, but it's not news and the announcers will joke about it, but for the most part ignore it.
But highly visible signs like these could make news:
"Federal Courts: 5
Goodell: 0"
"Renegotiate the CBA NOW!"
"We 'heart' a Players' Strike"
"Players Strike: Just Say No to Article 46"
"Players Strike. Sack Goodell!"
That's the kind of stuff that will get the attention of the media and the owners. The owners love to play the "spoiled, overpaid players" card when they threaten to strike. If they have to worry that the fans see through that...that's another matter.
I also hope that those of you who are fortunate enough to be there on Thursday don't let Kraft off the hook. You don't need to chant rude things to him (he did "apologize"....well in words at least), but booing when he walks on the field or speaks would be appropriate in the minds of many of us.
Absolutely correct sir. Bob is fine with the POS. I t doesn't matter if Goodell shows. He and his gestapo have already received their pound of flesh in the form of drat picks from good old Bob.Lol why is this even a thread? Noway Bob tells him not to come. Johnathan would have but Bob would hug him on the way in.
uh...only TWO choices?
where's the "scumbag jerkoff" option?
That is common knowledge so there was no need for that option.uh...only TWO choices?
where's the "scumbag jerkoff" option?
That's such a load of crap because for the past 8 months he's done everything he can to take away from the game.So Roger Loser will not be attending the NFL Kickoff game as he as all of them up until now. His ******** statement said that he he did not want to "take away from the game."
Kraft would never tell Goodell he isn't welcome. Kraft would probably still let Rawg into his box. BUT HE WOULD BE CHILLY TOWARDS HIM WOW WAY TO GO MR. KRAFT.
Wonder if he'll show up to the Super Bowl.
Yeah, nothing warms my ****les of my chest cavity more than seeing Kraft slobber all over his prized commish. He will, because he requires coaches and players to speak to the media after games.
Having said that, I'd love to see him handing the Lombardi to Kraft.
I'm glad Goodell won't be there. Having Goodell there would be like being stuck somewhere with a 4-hour lingering fart permeating the place. It might be funny to laugh at at first, but after a while you'll begin to feel unclean just being in the same place as it. Don't forget the a-hole still has the draft picks and the $1M - the joke's not all on him. He may be the fart, but we're the ones who've had to smell it for seven months already. Why prolong the experience?
Kensil on the other hand - VP of game operations - no reason for him not to be there. Why not lift the rock he's been hiding underneath? If he doesn't want to be famous, any chance we can make him infamous? How about chanting "YOU'RE IN BIG F-IN TROUBLE" after every Patriots touchdown?
