It seems that after every loss and some wins, the #1 target is always the play calling on both offense and defense.
However to my eyes execution of the plays that were called is the biggest reason why the Patriots lost yesterday. Execution to me means not hitting the right open receiver, receivers not being where they are suppose to be, not blocking the right man, missed tackling, not being lined up correctly on D or losing the guy your suppose to be covering, not making the right reads on O OR D, and not committing avoidable penalties.
So what was it, play calling or poor execution. It could be a little of both but if you think poor execution is the main problem, then it can't be the play calling.
