We addressed our biggest strengths in a draft where we needed to fill several holes???

Shame this forum doesn't have a penalty box...

Re: Old age catching up to BB???

Yes, this is why you are an employed by an NFL team right now.

That's what happens when you go to your 4th Super Bowl in a decade and win %80 of your games with an 18 game winning season to top it off. People finally smarten up and realize that you don't know what you're doing.

Our two biggest holes were LB and secondary and we used four (maybe 5 depending if you think Slater is a FS or not) of six picks on those two areas. How is not addressing needs? I think this was totally a needs based draft.

BB have had great seasons over his course here, acknowledged. However, that doesn't justify his pathetic draft picks the past 2 days. I guarantee these are all busts to below avg picks. Mark my words.

I like the draft so far, but the matt slater pick is a bit of a head scratcher:confused:

So...you care to elaborate on how it is you think someone who was called "the best linebacker in the draft" is going to be a bust?

You can't just say stupid sh!t like that, you need to back it up.

And I love it: "BB have had great seasons".

Yeah...he's only one of the top 2-3 coaches in history....

Who has time for that? Why don't you mark them, ok? Come back in a year or 2, repost that and we'll go from there.

And seriously, try to have your OP being a little more coherent.

Re: Old age catching up to BB???

you can't speak English...I doubt you'll ever have employment with Mickey D's, nevermind an NFL front office...go back to 3rd grade

Says a guy who types run-on sentences:rolleyes:

Re: Old age catching up to BB???

This whole draft was a waste. His worse so you gotta wonder the main question.

Didn't they say this about the Giants' draft last year? How did that work out for them?

I'm fairly certain you don't want to start something involving critiquing other people's posting styles, grammatical grasp or punctuation, as it will do nothing except further draw attention to the utter vacuousness of your own posting.

That means you should probably not throw a rock inside your glass house.

Re: Old age catching up to BB???

So says the 13 year old who was crying and saying Im through with this game in all the game day threads in which the Pats werent blowing teams out. Hed always say, Its over when the Pats were losing, then hed return when the Pats won and try to apologize.

Why dont you guys lighten up and stop attacking the messenger. Whether he is right or wrong he has a right to his opinion and that doesnt matter if he is 13 years old or 130 years old.

Try discussing the reasons why he thinks it was a bad draft instead if ridiculing him and creating animosity and putting the forum into argue mode instead of discussion mode.

I may be new here but it sees to me from what I have read that there seems to be a few people who believe that their opinions are the only ones that count while others just get browbeaten about theirs.

This person whoever he may be, has a right to his opinion and who is anyone to say that he may not be right or that everyone else is wrong?

Personally, other than the Mayo pick at this time the rest of the Patriots draft is very questionable. And even that has some controversy about it.

Face it, its a crap shoot from start to finish.

A lousy draft and now we have to look forward to another year of that Brady guy being "locked on" to that Moss guy.
It is a tough lot us Pats fans must suffer.
Maybe we can get Nancy Kerrigan to come here everyday and say,WHY US!

How do you feel about Coach McDaniels, NEM?

Shame on the rest of you... Jr.'s the only one around here apparently who felt confident we were well stocked at CB and LB.

If only the rest of you had as much faith and confidence in the team!

;)
