Gronk: arm injury

As long as he is ready to go for the playoffs, we are good. We have the deepest tight end roster in THE NFL. As long as you are in the playoffs, you are dangerous. Gronk is also the toughest player in the NFL, no doubt he is back by week 15-16. Honestly we will be fine, Offense looked fantastic today, even without Gronk on the field. (Optimism at its finest!)

This team needs to win Thursday and simply close out enough Ws to take the division. Gronk will be there for the post season romp

Good answer:rolleyes:

It is a good answer because Gromk does it for EVERY PAT. If you don't like how BB manages Special Teams feel free to submit a resume to Mr. Kraft.

4-6 Weeks for any other human... 2-3 Weeks for Gronk...

Mark my words.. he'll be back in 22 days for HOUSTON

yeah....not with a broken forearm..and why rush him back if the goal is to win the SB?

If it is his radius, that is much worse. With a broken radius, your range of rotation is severely compromised. I was in a bike accident last December and broke both radius bones. It was about 8 weeks before I could rotate them about 80% of their range of motion. Then again, I wasn't getting PT every day like a madman.

If it is the ulna (and a nondisplaced break) that is better news, though still not great, as that is the main lever arm you use to push off people for blocking, where the strength comes from.

Either way, this is bad news. I hope they don't listen to him, but the doctors. Take the time to heal the beast.

Cmon people... ITS BB...

He'll use some good "medication" and be back for the Houston game.

Gronk hasn't been healthy all year long. He really needed those late game reps in a blowout didn't he Bill???

If Gronk misses time it's squarely on Belichick.

Pure foolishness how he exposes his key players to injury like this.

Have to agree. Also, leaving Brady in until the last series might be the very definition of insanity. Cant' argue with his results, but BB isn't exempt when it comes to having a screw (or two) just a little loose somewhere.

Just let him heal 100% and don't rush him back like they did Hernandez earlier this year.

I made an account just to point out how stupid this is.

We were up 3 scores with 12 minutes, 30 seconds. Today we saw the Texans come back from 14 down in 5 minutes. Do you really think our defense is incapable of allowing an extra touchdown in two and a half times more time left on the clock?

You play to win the game, not lose the game. You're the same type of fan who complains when we lose because we play a zone defense and don't do a casino blitz.

We were missing our two best guards, hadn't been able to run the ball all game, and Brady had moved the ball without issue the entire game. You pass the ball and churn out first downs instead of playing conservatively and giving the ball back with plenty of time to score.

Play with a cast. Next question.

unfortunately, he's not a lineman where he can use it like a club. he actually has to catch and hold the ball.

Out 4-6 weeks could have him back by the jags game or 49ers if it heals quicker. I think we'll see him again before the end of the season.

Either way I think we should be fine once we get Hernandez back on the field.

Welker, Lloyd, Hernandez, Edleman, Shiancoe and our RB's can handle the load imho.

This is what thay get for running up the score... every other team in the league would have rested their starters that late, up by that much

just don't rush him like they did hernandez..even if he has to miss the first playoff game. How good would a bye help now?

Gronk injury from the PAT on the last TD at 3 mins on the 4th quarter.

What like the Ravens running 50 on the Raiders last week? Or the Saints against the Colts last season?
