It's easy, and only takes a few moments. He said historically, the Pats play their worst preseason game the second game of the preseason. He said it is around the time camp breaks and he feels that the team may temporarily lose focus. He wasn't overly concerned about the loss.
The starters and those with locks to make the team have one goal: get off the field as soon as they can with no injuries. Game 2 is to give a good long look to some bubble players and let some others audition for other teams.

The sky is not falling.. I hope I never have to hear those butt clowns who were announcing last night ever again.
I had it muted also. They were virtually unlistenable.I can usually ignore tv announcers, but last night was the first time I have ever muted the tv and tuned in to 'BCN. Really, really horrible.
Were those the guys whose lips were moving while I was listening to Gil and Gino? I didn't think they were that bad to look at.The sky is not falling.. I hope I never have to hear those butt clowns who were announcing last night ever again.

Ditto. NFLN should be ashamed. What complete idiots those two sounded like. I mean, we all know Faulk is obssessed with hating the Pats, but he sounded even worse than he usually does last night. Their glee at how disheveled the Pats looked was palpable.
I do have to agree that that is the worst example of announcing I have ever seen. Both Faulk and Sharpe are known Patriots haters and they showed it. I've hated Sharpe ever since he taunted Patriots fans in New Orleans prior to the Super Bowl by holding up the Super Bowl ring his brother gave him and saying that it was the closest the Patriots would ever get to a Super Bowl ring.
It was pathetic how they clearly hadn't done any research (like not realizing the Pats had 4 solid RBs on the roster) and how every little thing in a preseason game was a testiment to how the Pats were going to play in the regular season. Neither said anything positive at all.
what's wrong with that?
DeOssie is very wrong.. Since the pats have been coached with BB, the Pats have a 4-4 record in week 2 of the preseason.. The only time they were BLOWN out was the game against Cinn (and they played them later that year and crushed them)..
So something is more WRONG here than the typical, the broke camp and aren't focused..
