Well ... the Celtics season has a arrived ... they begin tomorrow vs the Cavaliers. Anyone wish to make any predictions? My guess is they go 58 - 24 a few less than last year. I think they are a better team than last year but I think injuries will be a problem this year. Not major injuries but nagging type injuries. I hope Doc really spreads the minutes around. One negative I have is how tired Paul Pierce looked come seasons end. He was so exhausted he wasn't even driving the lane looking for contact like he always has. I think Daniels will see major minutes as the season rolls along. Other than commenting on the obvious I'd like to comment on 2 players ... Kendrick Perkins and Lester Hudson. I think Perkins is going to have a great season because I think he will be the healthiest he has been in a few years. I love his maturity his passion for owning the paint. It will be fun to see if Doc goes with Perk, Garnett, and Wallace at times ... just for kicks. Also ... by seasons end fans are going to love Lester Hudson ... this kid is going to be a decent NBA player. He'll be buried on the bench for a while but what he has going for him is that he is 25 so he is very physically and mentally mature. If Daniels plays a lot of 3 Hudson could earn a good 5-7 minutes after mid season.
