Bad News for Kraft haters

Have you read this thread? The same posters saying they don't "hate" him want him gone.

As the Patriarch he'll still always have a hand in how the organization is run no matter if Jonathan's "running" the franchise or not. Foolish to think otherwise.
People who want him gone (which I don't see a lot of) want him gone because they disagree with the way he is running the franchise almost wholly with respect to allowing resources to be plundered without cause and without objection.
That is not hate.
That is a reasonable point of view.
The point of view that despite these gaffes you still support him for the overall impact he has had is reasonable as well.

If you argue anti Kraft people are "haters" who have no valid complaint other than hate then you are saying you have no valid argument other than you love him and ignore what he has done poorly.

Yes it is definitely is indicative of innocence to yell from the rooftops to schmucks in the media like Vollin than to profess your innosence under oath. Oh wait..

You've been reading the Manning playbook a bit too much
Tom Brady whispering meekly into the microphone…"I don't think I did anything wrong."
Bob Kraft passively accepting all punishment…"Let's stop the rhetoric."

Question….why should the media takes sides with NE and actually investigate/publicly question the evidence when the team rolled over so passively?
And Bob Kraft's recent rebuttal….debunking myths….instead of screaming from the rafters NE's innocence. What I hear from Kraft these days are statements that the charges are not supported by the evidence…which I agree….but he still can't form the words…."we did nothing wrong". Instead of announcing innocence he declares "insufficient evidence to prove wrong doing" …not exactly a declaration of innocence.

And the Manning playbook …..a winning strategy. Sorry……..he won the media, he won the PR battles…..battles NE lost in the first few days of this "gate".

“Well, putting personal situations aside, I think he has done a very good job. He’s worked hard. The health of the league has not been better. We have our issue that we don’t think has been handled well. It is what it is.”

Yeah... Goodell is KILLING IT as commissioner. Just outstanding work overall.

Yeah if you don't like people complaining about it, then don't come here. It is in the news, draft is coming up, so if you think people aren't gonna talk about it, or are going to grab their ankles and enjoy the Kraft shaft like you do, then perhaps take a break and read a book or something.

I kind o
Derranged fans angered daily over a lost draft pick = people who need perspective in their lives.
I kind of sympathize with both sides. I do think Kraft could have done more. But I also know he is thinking long term and he doesn't want to rock the boat too much with the other owners. He has a lot of money tied up in this team. It's VERY hard to get into the owners club. It's his life long dream. And I'm sure there are agreements in the contract to not go against the system. On the other hand, to have himself, his team, players, coaches, fans have their ethics and reputations thrown in the mud by outright lies is very hard pill to swallow. I know I've lost some respect for him for not doing a little more. At least slander them back as well and change public perception of the the Patriots. To see BB and TB constantly accused of cheating is unacceptable. And for Kraft to do very little to change that is unacceptable to many, many fans

He doesn't see any new information because they dumped all that new information they collected this year during their "spot checks"...

Oh, Moses, smell the roses!

It is delusional to believe there was any other outcome here .... I understand the disappointment of the dog and pony show that's been displayed, but in case you haven't realized, that's all it ever is when the intended outcome is so obvious

If your saying that a pointless fit of rage is what you're hoping for, that's pretty sad

Did you ever consider this option? Bob Kraft is Keyser Soze; Roger Goodell is the leader of the Hungarian mob.

Well then you'd be moving to LA this year to follow your beloved Stallions. At least it wouldn't be Birmingham.

Overblown. Yeah, OK. Can't even bring yourself to give Kraft credit for keeping the team here.

4 SB titles and 7 appearences>3 lost draft picks.

I get the disappointment in here but not the hate.

You are siding with Kraft. That can only mean you hate Belichick and Brady. Why do you hate Belichick and Brady? All the good they've done for the organization and you hate them. I don't understand why you hate them. You shouldn't hate them. I'm a better, more well adjusted fan (and person for that matter) because I don't hate Brady and Belichick. You're a crackpot because you hate Belichick and Brady. I laugh at your foolishness of hating Brady and Belichick.

Not to mention you support Kraft, Kraft supports Goodell, that must mean you love Goodell. Why do you love Goodell? I don't understand why you love Goodell. If you love Goodell that means you must hate the truth. Why do you hate the truth? If you hate the truth you must hate freedom. Why do you hate freedom? You must hate America. If you hate America, you must hate the Patriots. Why do you hate the Patriots? I bet you hate puppy dogs and ice cream too. Why do you hate puppy dogs and ice cream after all the good they've done. I get the disappointment in puppy dogs but I don't understand the hate.

Goodell says he has "considered (Kraft's) views" with the letter but there will be no change to the Deflategate penalties.

This is him "considering it":

That recent Curran piece where Kraft say's he's "very hurt" by his criticism is infuriating.
Bob, you don't know why you're being criticized?

You sold out the player who made you a Billionaire and subsequently allowed his name and your team's name to forever be tarnished. On top of that, you backed off for no reason, made no deal for Brady and continue to allow Goodell to roam free without consequence.

And for what? So you could appease slime like Jerry Jones?

Pure stupidity from Kraft.

LMAO....I love how he makes it HIS ISSUE...you know, he could give a flying fat monkey about the millions of devoted fans in Patriots Nation (not to mention those poor kids who wear their favorite Patriot jersey to school, God bless them) that actually have to deal with douchenozzle fans of the other 31 make fun of their team being practice-video taping, ball-needle inflating, murdering cheaters on a CONSISTENT BASIS. Nah, it's HIS PERSONAL ISSUE. Well, he can personally DIAF for all I care.

Here's Jonathan Kraft's timid statement yesterday….notice he can't bring himself to say….THE PATS DID NOTHING WRONG

""We empathize greatly with [the fans’] feelings and I can tell you that we are extremely angry, disappointed, confused. We feel the exact same way. And I think a lot has gone on behind the scenes over the last couple of months, where we feel like we’ve presented a lot of evidence and a lot of information which would hopefully lead the league to conclude that maybe the judgement that was initially made was not appropriate. The league has essentially decided otherwise and it’s very frustrating, it’s very disappointing.…...You can go to court, but when you sign up to be a part of this league you agree essentially not to sue the league. But even if you did go to court, you go to court you win money damages. It’ll take longer than the time before the draft happens and the money isn’t the issue here, the issue is getting your draft pick back and at some point you have to realize it’s not gonna happen […]…..[…] the best revenge will be putting the best team on the field next year and hopefully having a very successful season.""

Note the highlighted sentence in red above and the 3 terms highlighted in blue within. If Jonathan Kraft definitively believes in his organization's innocence, why does he continue to defer to his wrongful accusers.
I would have replaced his fence straddling wording with definitive statements that reflect the team's position of complete innocence…….like this
…...which would UNEQUIVOCALLY lead the league to conclude WITHOUT ANY HESITATION the judgement that was initially made was INCORRECT.

For some reason, the Patriots can't find it in themselves to definitively claim innocence…..even after confirmation that that the league doesn't care about NE's issues

I'll get you eventually, you can't outfox me forever!

But no, he's not really banned @NYCPatsFan. Fnord on the other hand...

Dang, i was thrilled for some time as it was getting tiring to see that gif beneath his post that occupied more space than his responses. :D
