I’ve got more faith in “Twinkle Toes” Boutte than I do with the “One Catch.Wonder” Thornton. Even though he didn’t get both toes down, Boutte at least got free and made (2) decent catches!

At least boutte got open which can’t be said for those overpaid scrubs Parker and JSS

By the way in the TNF game Pickens did not get the toes from the second foot in on a beautiful td throw from picket either and he is pretty solid

Because he has speed. He's new. We want to see what the kid's got. Right now the Pats are extremely thin at WR in terms of bodies and talent. Why not give the kid a shot? Playing him isn't going to hurt the Pats' playoff chances.

He doesn't actually have speed. He runs a 4.55. He runs good routes. But he is someone in need of development.

It’s based on JJSS and TT being the alternatives, obviously.

I would. If he was capable of helping the team. But if he's going to the wrong places and hurting us, then no I wouldn't. A receiver doing the wrong thing leads to interceptions.

Personally, I'd rather see Tyquan out there anyway. When he's been given a chance, he gets open.

But we need to develop young WRs regardless.

Juju must of had a great week of practice and is coming off a super stellar 1 rec 3 yd td performance. I mean how could Boutte stand to top that? Addition by subtraction. Juju is their best chance. Not really. Juju sucks. Best players will play lol. More like, trying to justify a really bad signing.

It’s very confusing though you have to admit… Belichick was praising him all week as was Bill O’Brien who said he believed in him… Now he’s another healthy scratch which is it? Is the kid catching on and practicing well and making progress or is he not getting it or not working hard? Very tough one to figure out.

At least they are trying to not take any risks with the tanking. We already know what they have with JuJu which is basically jag. Why risk on any kind of upside and blow the draft position?

Because we know the guys in front of him can’t play. We don’t know that Boutte can’t play yet because they won’t play him.

Agree but apparently he had a good week of practice and our starting wr besides Douglas and Bourne aren’t producing
