Kayshon Boutte

Agree but apparently he had a good week of practice and our starting wr besides Douglas and Bourne aren’t producing

Yes, but one week is a very short time. Remember when people were upset with Douglas not playing. Let's see if Boutte can practice well for 2 or 3 weeks, and then be upset if he does not play.

Normally I would say yes but look at our wr today
They just suck

We have a problem at QB.

It's incredibly difficult to play in the NFL when you can't go downfield.

We don't even know what we have because of this.

Today's game is the ultimate in frustration for me. Should be doing so much better.

Thornton was wide open on multiple plays. The TV is showing it. If a WR is wide open on 50%+ of his routes, what else do you want?
Thornton has been out of the game now because it's clear he is not the guy you want on those short shifty routes. He's a long strider, but he gets open downfield consistently.

He's useless in this short passing game.

You can say he's limited, but surely another team could out him to good use. Getting open consistently downfield is hard to do.

If only it mattered in our offense.

Man, he would have looked good out there on that final drive.

Thornton is our One Catch Wonder and if nothing else is very consistent….

He is what he is. A guy who can get open downfield. And he gets open downfield often. But we don't have the QB

He is not a short route runner. He's a long strider and can't make those cuts.

I saw him on 3 plays today. One, he was wide open for a slant and Mac panicked and threw the ball into the ground. Two, made a double move downfield and broke open for a big gainer. Mac wasn't closed to hitting him. Three, ran a short out and screwed it up. He was then benched.

Are you going to assure us he was good like you did a few weeks ago when he played 3 snaps? Maybe you can let us know how good he was last week too...

Timing didn’t look fluid on that 2nd throw - flip a coin on who may have been at fault. I seem to recall lots of Baylor clips where he was getting free shirt and had decent YAC. Not happening now - he may just not be ready for prime time that is when he’s not injured….

Boutte didn’t do something right once so in Belichicks kind he’s useless for the rest of the season. He buried Bourne last season and the game and the personnel management have passed him by.

It’s easy when the best player on your team is the hardest worker but that doesn’t exist any longer

It's time to "Free Kayshon Boutte."

Yes he didn't toe tap a couple of times in game 1 of the season.

So what? He's a rookie, he can iron out that part of his game. What we need out there is more talent at playmaking positions, not less of it!

Thornton fills the N'Keal Harry position very well.

Let's recall his contributions to the team:

Nov 5 vs Commanders. 1 catch 7 yards.
Oct 22 vs Bills. 1 catch 2 yards.
Oct 15 vs Raiders. 1 catch 6 yards.

Regular season total: 3 catches 15 yards, 5.0 yards per catch.

OOF! What an "Out of the Box" pick at WR!
There goes Bill again playing Chess while the rest of the league is playing Checkers!

Like I said, very consistent - you’ll find the same thing last year as well…
