Brady left off NFL Promo for Super Bowl 50

Still waiting for someone to convince me why I should believe NE games this year (and beyond) will be refereed fairly.

And yes, the NFL won't be so stupid as to outright tell the ref to cheat (though you never know), but all they have to do is have their toady Blandino (or whoever grades the refs) downgrade correct close calls for NE, upgrade incorrect close calls against NE, and the refs will get the message.
This X1000. I already brought it up earlier. It saddens me, but the Patriots probably do not have a great shot to get back to the Super Bowl because the NFL won't allow it. The NFL is already barely masking their shots at Brady and the Patriots through channels like this on social media. You've also got the commissioner who can't stand to be present for the defending champs opening game.

Goodell will not allow for himself to be put in a position where he has to awkwardly hand the trophy to Brady/Belichick/Patriots on National television again. I'd say that you aren't likely to see any big fixes on national television. Instead, you'll see a litany of small calls continuously to the Patriots detriment, which altogether reduce their chances of winning any particular game.

I certainly hope to be proven wrong though.

Defending Champs probably, someone else, and we dont care. We dont need another SB. We dont need a dynasty. Brady is the best that ever played not Brees, and thats not important to us as fans.
I was there and it was perfect. After so much.
Cant believe I cried after a stupid game, but Brees did what he promised us he would do, and that ment the world to us, because it was impossible to us.
I remember talking in this chat in 2009 and saying how we had a parade for the team if they failed the SB, and everyone was appalled that we would do that. But maybe everyone didnt understand what it ment to us just to be in a SB game after forever, and what we had gone threw. We had belief, faith, hope, but that always came crashing down on us. Seemed we always got knocked out and had to stand back up like some morbid Rocky movie. Even after the SB win the punches kept coming with oil spills and Goodell destuction of the team with bountygate. No one ever comes to help, for weeks, we are always alone for awhile. lol, not sure why that is.

Yes maybe we are lousy again, and maybe we have no chance again to make it.

Maybe Brees is not what he was, but he has done nothing but be kind, help people, and do the best he can for us, and for that we will love that man. He works so hard to be the best ever he will never be, and I really dont know how much more we can ask, but if ever a silly football player helped to build a city back up that would be Brees. On and off the field. Brees took on a much larger thing in life than football.

What you said is right. We are probably not going to be in it. I think most of us know that. I just want you aware of how we feel. If we could pick to have TB we would not, Brees is our QB and if he never wins another SB we dont care. We are fine putting our #whatever they rank Brees that year vs #1 Brady. He did what he promised, and we know he will kill himself to never attain his goals in football.
and if our boys are lousy thats fine, they are ours, and we are fans. We only cared about the game with the patriots because we respected you so much.

and I am not attacking you BelichickFan. Your a much better poster than me. I just want you and everyone here to know how we feel about our team, no negative attached. We are so proud of your boys for winning the SB and TB's accoplishments. One of the best football days in my life is when Brady got that 4th ring he so desurved for years, and we are proud of ours.
We are not a greedy fans, we just wanted that day, and got it.

Pherein, have you been drinking? You seem a bit .. ok more than a bit... emotional than usual.

I can't speak for other pats fans, but if there was a team I would root for if the Pats didn't win it all, it would probably be the Saints, just because of all our ties between our teams and now our shared hatred of Goodell.

Although we've hated Goodell long before he ****ed you guys over, since 2007 to be exact.

I am SO FU.CKING SICK of this "woe is me we won't be given a fair shake this year." Off the field sure, theres stuff that the NFL that will be dirty and underhanded. Not on the field. The refs are not in the NFL's pockets, in fact they kind of had a big fight with them a few years back if you can recall.

yeah well, you know, lol pegged it. sorry 10th year of what happened. Its embarasing to us sometimes that grown men cant control feelings looking back. Not sure why that still happens. Truly sorry. You know we love our guys and what they did, and so respect NE.
Our huge ties to NE started with SP and his respect of BB and explaining that to our fans that we need to follow the path of BB in 2006.
Patriots team is a dynasty, but the fans are champions to. They showed us how to act as champions fans, and did not make fun of us. We learned alot from them. Best fans.
Goodell gave a death blow to this team, but thats ok. You need to win. You have a chance to win 5 before Brady is done, do it and we will be with you.
Our cap and depth was to messed up by Goodell, maybe by some miracle we can pull of a payoff. Would be imposible with our depth. Do it again for us. Brees is a good man but he cant carry a team and win everything on his own, no matter how hard he tries. The defense has always lost games. We are brothers against Goodell and I know nothing would make Benson happier than being in a SB with the Patriots so he can say what he wants before he dies. Benson will do that if he gets the chance.

Looks like we got an unlikely supporter

Does Brady want any support from the guy who pretended to take a dump after scoring a touchdown in the Super Bowl?

I suspect that if something like that started happening, there would be someone ready to expose it. Consequently, it's probably to big a risk for them, because if it DID get exposed, it would be the death of the NFL.

For example exposing something like the NFL rigging a process to unfairly harm/smear a superstar player in a process they proudly proclaimed publicly was as pure as the driven snow but regardless of the glaring examples of lying and dishonor, where a glib national media ate up the company line at almost every turn?
Someone would be ready to expose that?

Do I think the NFL will call someone up and say 'call PI and holding on the Patriots in game 3, 7 and 9'? No I absolutely do not. I think that has almost no chance of happening. But it is naive to believe (A) that Goodell and his office will not use almost every tool at their disposal to settle the score with Brady. (B) Goodell has no power to set a level of unofficial and unspoken tone or mindset within the refereeing group.
If you think that is non sense then I'm left wondering if you have been paying attention to Goodell's office in the last handful of months (unless you are saying Goodell's office didn't pull almost every dirty trick in the book and did not act unethically to get the outcome he wanted irregardless of what's fair -- including lying/misrepresenting facts to a court of law).

To be crystal clear of the meaning of your post: you are very indignant that Patriot's fans deep mistrust of the NFL office could extend to anywhere the NFL office touches, and find it absurd that the power of NFL office that hugely and repeatedly manipulate national media outlets is completely powerless with the group of NFL referees?
Roger that.....

Hilarious they took it down. Really makes me wonder if a jets fans is running that garbage feed

That's the obvious theory.

I'm guessing the NFL saves a few bucks by hiring people who will accept a few bucks less on salary because they're passionate football fans. Well, a passionate football fan who lives around NYC has a reasonable chance of being a Jets fan ...

That wasn't the NFL's official banner, the real one would have had RGIII.

Romo and Eli are far from being Brady : but they both have more than a legit argument that they should be featured ahead of Palmer.

As much as I'd like to, I can't celebrate this type of humor as a victory, because it convicts Brady and the Pats of something that didn't happen in the first place, the deflation of footballs. I hate that this assumption that something happened remains as the dominant public opinion.

Come playoff time I'm sure the "all star crew" will be selected to fit the other team's strengths and the Pats weaknesses. If the Pats DBs are struggling an illegal contact and pass interference crew. If the other team has a crappy OL a crew that never calls offensive holding, etc.

Here's one solution:

They're talking about this on 98.5 now. LOL

After seeing how truly dishonest the NYJFL can be, I would be surprised if they didn't try to affect the games on the field. It's more probable than not that they have already.
