Are they, though? Their confidence looks shaky already.
It's bringing back memories of Chad Jackson and Brandon Tate.
Rookie WR's settling in is all about confidence and being comfortable. Bradys admitted body language and yelling at them isn't going to help either of those.
He needs to put on his baby gloves and be more positive. These kids are 12-15 years younger than him too. I'm sure being his whipping boy isn't helping them shake their rookie jitters.
what a crock of *****. This isn't peewee ball dude. These are grown ass men that need to step up and make plays. Brady has already publicly stated that he made his own fair share of mistakes so he isn't blaming anyone. The problem is that whenever we see what appears to be an underthrown or overthrown pass, we say it was a bad throw by Brady when in actuality, It could be the receiver running an incorrect route, or stopping when he should have been bolting...or vice versa.
Brady wants to win, and when he is performing poorly, or others around him are performing poorly, he displays it 100% and he has always done that. No need to handle these grown ass men with kid gloves. If they screw up, they screw up and should be called out on it.
These are young receivers and will hopefully get better sooner rather than later, but with ATL coming up, on the road in two weeks...AND a tough schedule after that for a few weeks, they literally are out of time. You want to see some serious fan rage? Watch what happens if we get blown out in ATL.
At the end of the Day, Brady DID take a gamble that could potentially cost him Millions in 2015 in order to free up cap space THIS year, so we would have cap room to retain/purchase great talent and he was rewarded with a total b!tch slap by the front office.
Look what Denver gave Manning? Now look what NE gave Brady. They are both in the back 3 of their careers. We only have a good TB12 for 3 years or so)if lucky and NO injuries) and ever year after that will be in a constant state of decline. If we want to win another SB, we need to put talent on the team that can do so.
Now we might have that talent, but they still need a veteran WR who can take some pressure off of them, not some injury prone scrub like Amendola.
All these morons glorifying Amendola for having a gutsy week 1, PUHLEEAAASE...we got exactly what we thought we would get from him...when healthy, a great performance...but he is NEVER healthy. The man only played in 13 NFL games(counting week 1 btw) since the 2011 season...He played in ONE game in 2011 and only 11 games last year because he is ALWAYS INJURED. In fact, he has only played 1 full season his entire career and even that year he only had less than 700 yards and 3 TDs.
To the people drinking the pats koolaid, complaining about those of us that are b!tching, S T F U...we have every right to b!tch. This product this team is putting on the field is pathetic right now and they need to make a move to bring someone in here to take some pressure off these rookies, someone who can catch the damn ball. There are options and I am quite sure MANY of them are ready to play, even if they only get the role of Lloyd last year..."u go run on duh sideline...run fast ok and catch da balls"
Your damn right I am frustrated,How much longer do any of you think Edelman can play like this? Do you realize that he has never played a full NFL season, or that he only played 9 games last year due to injury? 13 the year before?
This team is totally screwed and might not even make the playoffs if the Dolphins continue to win...you all better thank god we didn't have to play them one of the first few weeks.
