It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Foxboro actually DID move Halloween to saturday night because of this game. They didn't want to have to worry about all those kids on the streets and traffic from the game coming through the neighborhoods.
Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing the "Trick or Treat" part of Halloween moved to the closest saturday each year. As a parent, it makes all sorts of sense.
Move to Foxboro and go trick-or-treating on Saturday instead
You gotta be kidding me, 4:15 for Patriots-Vikings on Halloween.
Damnit, I have 2 young kids that love Halloween!
Sorry, just realized this. It's worse than attending a wedding where at least you can have some drinks at the bar with the tube on.

Don't you have a wife/sibling/parent/friend/cousin who can handle this for you while you attend to the REAL priority (Patriots football)?

Typically Halloween requires two adults with responsiblities. One to take the kids; one to hand out candy at home.
Best bet -- be the candy giver, set up the TV right by the door (or even outside if the weather is decent) and put the bucket of candy next to you
Same problem here. I actually gave up my tickets to the game because my kids are football orphans every Sunday (my 7 year old twins were actually on the verge of tears last year because their November birthday was on a Sunday), and I decided that I couldn't screw them out of trick-or-treating. Hopefully the Football Gods will smile on my sacrifice and give us a win.
