4) Ignorant and biased, thats nice. The fact is that Welker will always find a way to get open. The Pats offense this year was based on Brady getting the ball into Welkers hands.
No defensive player can cover Welker when he's running a route from a slot position. Once he gets the ball in his hands it's like having your best RB in space with the ball.
The ignorance is fantastic. Welker doesn't "always" get open or we'd never have a stalled drive.
Yes the offense would have been 'bad' without Welker, but it would have been even worse without Moss. We only had two competent receivers this season, either one missing hurts the team. Welker didn't play in week 2 or week 3. Week 2 was against the #1 pass defense and Revis + safety + no other receiver means tough time for Moss and the offense. Week 3 Moss had 10 catches for 116 yards.... so much for Moss needing Welker
Keep spouting nonsense though
I love how you just keep saying I don't know anything about football and that I'm spouting nonsense. It all goes back to me saying that Moss doesn't try ALL the time. No matter what I would say after that you would say I know nothing.
You have a hall of fame qb throwing the ball 565 times, you have two real receiving threats. Do you not think that Randy Moss is going to get his 10+ td's in his sleep.
Your offense is based on Brady and his two receivers. If you are physical with Moss and double team him he can be taken out of the game.
You can't take Welker out of the game.
I'm not saying that a slot receiver is more important then a game changing #1 wide receiver. I'm saying that the current Randy Moss is a great deep threat but he's not a great overall #1 receiver.
Randy Moss deserves the hall of fame, and his season in 2007 was insane but to this current Pats team going forward Welker is more important on an every down basis.
