(Come to think of it, the way Al Davis' football strategy has been going as of late, this might be one of his better trades - I can't see Seymour sticking around next season)

What do the Patriots need? Although the Pats played lights out on Sunday, I think it's more due to the Titans not having both their starting CB's at their disposal and their team being one of the worst in the NFL. While the passing game was in sync on Sunday, I'm not sure it's safe to say the Pats offense is back. With that in mind, I think the Pats need to make a trade for a WR. Having Edelman as their #3 will not be enough down the stretch. My list of trade needs:

1. WR
2. RB
3. DE
4. OLB

i doubt anything is coming. remember how sure we all were that some big pass rushing OLB was coming through free agency or the draft in the off season? the TBC move doesn't make any sense at all though, so perhaps i'm wrong.

I don't see them winning the division in the long run, but they're 3-0 in it at the minute, why would they want to trade Chad now. Totally sends the wrong signal to the team and the town.

I read that the cap saving for TBC is only about 25K. If TBC was cut for a trade, it would be to make space (temporarily?), not for cap savings.

If the Pats trade AD, the cap dollars go up about $7 milllion. The Pats would have to cut or negotiate with players just to get enough cap space to make the trade. As stated, there was no cap savings by cutting TBC.

BB has not made a single mid-season trade ever since he got here in 2000. Of course there's always a first, but...
