I don't want Bodden back if he is going to cost a lot of money. He is a #2 CB IMO and I'm not that big of a fan of his. Wilfork is a must althought I'd like to see him trim down and be able to stay on the field for 3 downs. I'd take Faulk back in a heartbeat, he's bleeds red white and blue. Green, Hanson, Neal no. Seau no but I'd offer him a coaching position on defense b/c I love his leadership and knowledge of the game. He could really help Mayo and Guyton improve. Watson might as well go since we don't use him. Mankins is a no brainer keeper, he's a stud. I like Burgess brought back at the vet min. for depth but if he wants more then no. Ghost had a subpar year in my eyes. He missed too many makeable FG's but we aren't going to find anyone better so yes re-sign him.

Bodden. Please, for the love of God!

Burgess. Possibly at the vet min. The guy has kind of been growing on me in the latter part of the season.

Faulk. Duh.

Green. No. One of my top disappointments this season.

Hanson. Not if you paid me a thousand bucks.

Neal. Let's see where his head and heart are at after the dust settles.

Seau. After Thanksgiving.

Watson. Not at the salary he'll command.

Wilfork. Sad to say, but probably not. Way too much cash for a guy who played roughly half of the defensive snaps this year.

Gostkowski (RFA). Yes, without question.

Mankins (RFA). Yes, unless he continues to trend downward in '10.

Woods (RFA). Sure, fine contributor on ST.

Bodden (cannot be franchised per his contract) - Yea
Burgess - NAY
Faulk - YEA
Green - NAY
Hanson - NAY
Neal (has stated he will consider retirement) - Nay
Seau (likely not an early-season 2010 option) - Yea
Watson - Yea
Wilfork - Yea

Gostkowski (RFA) - Yea
Mankins (RFA) - Yea
Woods (RFA) - NAY

I would give whatever Kevin Faulk wants; he's earned it.
Bodden & Watson shouldn't command too much.
Junior played better than Mayo & Guyton; if he wants to return, then I'd pay him to return.
Wilfork is a $10M player, but he's not a $17.5M player.
There are better PKs than Ghost, but there are many more who are worse.
If Mankins asks for All-Pro money, then he can look elsewhere for it.
Thanks for the memories, Steven Neal, but you're too unreliable.
As for Burgess, Green, Hanson & Woods: Piss off.

Bodden (cannot be franchised per his contract)-Yes, if we want to upgrade our secondary next season, it starts with keeping bodden
Burgess-For a 1 year vets minimum, i dont think we could find anyone better at a #3 or 4 OLB on our depth chart, but i doubt he'll take vets min. anyway
Faulk-Obviously, if he doesn't retire
Green-The only way we should consider him coming back is in a reserve role, but quite honestly I'd prefer a rookie instead of him
Hanson-Nope, but i wouldn't care if we did to be quite honest
Neal (has stated he will consider retirement)-If he wants to come back, bring him back
Seau (likely not an early-season 2010 option)-I just feel bad that he's been here for 3 seasons to get a ring and never got one
Watson-Depends on the price, if it's an above average TE contract he wants, don't do it
Wilfork-Give him a long term deal, he deserves it

Gostkowski (RFA)-Kicking is important, and he's one of the best
Mankins (RFA)-Yes, if its uncapped, if its capped I'll leave it up to BB cause I'm not quite sure he's worth a top 3 guard contract which is what he wants I'm sure
Woods (RFA)-NO, average on STs, otherwise i haven't noticed him all season

That's 4 guaranteed and about 3 questionable
