I think the formula certainly needs some tweaking, but for the people who are suggesting that this person consciousy tailored their formula to make the Patriots look bad. Well, that's just stupid. Are you the same people that still believe the sun revolves around the earth?

Don't believe it. Any true Patriots fan can easily spot the problem with the formula itself. The last step is to divide by red zone defense. You can't divide by zero.

"Sack differential" is definitely a dumb thing to have as a major factor in a Power Ranking, but it is far from useless. A team's sack total is indicative of what kind of pressure they are getting on the QB, which has a huge affect on the pass defense overall.
