We'll take him come home Romeo.
Drake will make him want to come to practice and meeting... Oh golly geesh Romeo I just hit you with a 70 yard in cut.. let me feed DJ..

Agreed palmer could sling it 70 yards off his back foot like Drake can.. but Jackson was what 22 or 23? And pretty much his career over... did he play anywhere else afterwards I'm drawing a blank.
He went to Denver, but he couldn't move so he called it a career.

Thornton was pathetic never connected with Mac - Zappe now Drake always dropping catchable balls.

Turns out speed isn't everything. Just being able to run fast doesn't an NFL receiver make.
With the exception of Metcalf, A.J. Brown, Tee Higgins, Michael Pittman JR, and a few other WR's drafted in the 2nd Round in back to back Drafts, ran 4.5 something 40's. But, they can run routes, adjust, and catch the dang ball.

ah... I see. So He wasn't able to tell bill to stop ignoring the scouts... so last 7 seasons..
Duke Dawson ,Cyrus jones, joeuan Williams, N'Keal Harry, Thornton.. all first and second round bust.
Those Drafts where BB drafted DB's in the 2nd Round really killed this Teams Roster during those time periods.

Agreed we didn't resign talib in 2013.. what a mistake talib was an all pro.. we lost the AFCCG at home against Baltimore bolden went off when talib went down..

I'd want Metcalf, then Higgins. But Metcalf probably isn't going to happen (as they'll want too much in return). Higgins is possible, but we still need to draft a stud to go with him (unless Polk and/or Baker make a huge leap). And of course, we need a LT and Center (in case Johnson doesn't end up cutting it). And even then, if Andrews plays another year, it's good to have two solid Centers. This Team has been fortunate with Andrews for too long (except for the time he lost time with the blood clots).

And we lost Andrews with a shoulder one year remember? I really think it's going to end up by trade.. I love Higgins.. I think he could be say a 1B here.. we need that game changer, that guy who goes up and gets it out the sky.. is why I think DJ is Moore realistic.. he's not happy playing with overrated Williams and eberflus..

Thornton have no Excuse all that speed is useless if you can't catch.
Auerbach once said "You can't coach height." But, he also inferred that height alone isn't enough to be a good, let alone great player. Some of the greatest WR's in NFL History were not "Burners".

How old is Moore? I only ask because whoever they obtain, regardless of position in all 3 phases, I'd want them to be young enough to be impact players for at least 4 years starting with their 1st season with New England. And of course, we need to start crushing it in drafts from here on out, where misses are more the exception than the rule. By the way, draft analyst's really bug me. For example: Emeka Egubuka is stated to be a slot type WR, yet he's expected to be in the 4.3 40 range, at 6'1 and 205. Justin Jefferson is 6'1 and 195 and ran a 4.4 something 40, and yet he's considered to be a multi-role WR. Every draft these contrarian opinions drive me nuts. What's your take on that?
