Most of above are good but not “impact” players.
James White maybe only impact player in his prime
Objectively speaking it’s tough to take anyone seriously who says Shaq Mason or Trey Flowers weren’t impact players. As 4th rounders no less.

You're reaching badly here and you rebuttal shows you have nothing to back it up with. And if you go where I think you're going to go on why Bill was fired, you're walking yourself into a check mate.

Joe Thuney was the only player on offense or defense who made an Pro Bowl/All Pro during his stint in NE. So what I bolded is false.
And played hard ball with one of the best OL in patriots history mankins!

He certainly was a controversial pick in 2005. Most people hated it, but he proved a lot of people wrong. Bill couldn't duplicate it with Strange.

Yes!! 5th rounder right?? Guy was a menace at G.. stranger should be watching tape on him to grow his game.

Where you been brother!! your guy finally got himself cut huh..
Thornton have no Excuse all that speed is useless if you can't catch.

Yeah.. he hung around for a while.. that dropped pass from cannon Drake was his last time he played.. I hope my guy baker can get some meaningful snaps now.. if he's not then I'm concerned for him..

Baker should get lot's of opportunities hope he doesn't develop the dropsies.

Where does Thornton rank among the worst WR's drafted?

He was only picked 18 slots after Harry. Thornton was worse than Harry, so I think he's #1.

Well I’ll be the first one to admit when I was wrong and I had Thornton as my second wr in the draft. I fell in love with the speed and potential and was stoked when we traded up to get him no cap I bought Thornton autographed helmet, Jersey, photo, and cards. I spent about 400 on Thornton stuff on draft day.

The last time I was that excited about a wr was Chad Jackson pretty much Deja vu, we Steelers both times get all pro talent and we get guys who can’t play.
I was terrified by Thorntons wr coaches reaction to how high he was drafted.
When he said I guess the Patriots see something in him I think he can turn into a pretty good player that was nightmare fuel for me.

Harry was a bigger bust than Thornton.
The margin of error to get that pick right was extremely slim. He was by far the biggest draft bust and the 2019 class was Bill's worst draft in the Tom/Bill era.

Thornton was not nearly as important to be a hit than Harry.

He needs to be growing with Drake and polk.. I want all 3 of them to have the rest of the season together so when we get DJ Moore in here now we have a potent offense.

Jackson gets a pass because he was dealing with a hamstring all year long. When he did play, he made some noise. It was him being forced on special teams with a bad hammy that caused him to tear his ACL which ruined his career.

For some reason I can't remember Jackson making much impact I think he had one good game in 06 I believe..
