This is why Bill’s time ran out. He continually didn’t draft any impact players which went on for 10 years.
10 years?

ANY players?

Christian Gonzalez, Keion White, Marcus Jones, Mike Onwenu, Christian Barmore, Rham Stevenson, Dugger, Anfernee, Bentley, Wise, Thuney, Mitchell, Elandon Roberts, Flowers, mason, James White. Heck, even Sony Michel helped us.

We'll see about Demario, Boutte and Strange.

This isn't ENOUGH players, but it's crazy to say ANY.

No Pro Bowlers except for Mac.

The WR scouting department needs an exorcist.
No they just actually need to care about drafting WR's and make it a priority. There were plenty of WR's to be had in 2020 and they stayed passive and didn't care in a year where their GOAT QB was *****ing about how bad the offense was and ultimately left. A marginal trade up would have gotten them Jefferson or Lamb and you'd have an impact player that would have made everyone better up to this very day.

It wouldn't have even been a difficult trade either. They just watched everyone else get aggressive and then traded down once everyone was gone.

They just always find some stupid reason to not prioritize the position enough to be aggressive.

Yes Cyrus Jones, joeun Williams, Duke Dawson, nkeal Harry, tyqyan. Am I missing more?
If we’re only talking 1st and 2nd round picks, the remaining duds were:

Dominique Easley, Isiah Wynn, Sony Michel post 2018, the legend of Jordan Richards and Josh Uche.

There seems to be a misunderstanding of what impact means. None of those players made impacts/game changers and many I have no idea why you’d even bother to list. All of them can/have been replaced before.

If Bill had good draft from 2021 and 2023, he’d still be here.
No Pro Bowlers except for Mac.
Who was an alternate.

Most of above are good but not “impact” players.
James White maybe only impact player in his prime

Yes, 1st and 2nd... I'll say though what's with the affliction of him selecting all these guys with prio injuries in college. Easley had knee concerns, Michel for example. Richard solid STs player but not what he was draft for. Uche one sack wonder.

I was very mad about the Thornton pick. Traded up for him, and our own BaconGrundleCandy only had a 4th round grade on him. We had a leaky defensive line in 2021 and I was really hoping we’d be taking Travis Jones as a DT run stuffer to pair with Godchaux. As it was, Jones himself fell to the 3rd with the Ravens and is now a key cog in their solid run defense. We could use that now. Their pass defense though…. Blech.

Anyway, the Matt Groh defense of Thornton really bothered me. I remember hearing it at the time and it sounding just like late stage Al Davis after he lost his fastball. And it turned out to be exactly spot on, it’s late stage Bill Belichick after he lost his drafting fastball.

Oh well, no use crying over spilled milk. Need to take these lessons and build a solid scouting and drafting crew going forward.

He has to get his mind right first............ most likely only old people will get this
he should be out there growing with Drake and polk.. these guys are part of the present and future.. I just hope he doesn't end up another long list of WR bust.
