Would Denver be interested in O'Connell?

Does Josh value him more highly than a player he's never worked with?
Some of the teams interested in Cutler don't have a decent young qb to
trade to Denver. But, if they overwhelmed Denver with draft picks and
players, does Josh call BB about trading for O'Connell?

First of all, its not like BB needs more draft picks this year... which actually makes trading for any of our players of great interest to a team since they can give up a pick for NEXT year to get them.

But overall, while I'm very high on O'Connell, even with a year in our system under his belt I don't view him as a QB in the system mold of Brady and Cassel.

That's not to say he can't be a pocket passer -but given O'Connell's ability to scramble, you'd use that - so if McDaniels is interested in him I'd think he'd be looking at adopting a system that's different from that he employed using Brady and Cassel.

So my answer would be that if you think he's interested in O'Connell because O'Connell knows McDaniels' system, that would not be the case

hmmmmm....lookin' like they're positioning themselves to send us the bears' 2010 first + orton.
