It's going to be a great World Series I think. I'm not sure who i want to win. I like players from both teams. I may watch the entire series not even caring who wins. I'm an underdog type of fan so perhaps a slight lean to the Rangers ... winning on their first trip.

So ... do you have a favorite or are you just going to watch?

I guess I'll pull for Texas. I rooted for them in the Divisional round and in the ALCS so I'll go for the trifecta.

i will go for Texas as well. Pulled for them against the Rays and Yanks (Twins were my pick). Plus, i like Nolan Ryan. So what the hell.

plus, i just cant stand those outlandish beards the Giants have.

I'm so glad the Rangers are back in Texas! It's been a tough 2 nites for them and their fans. Hopefully they will play alot better on their own turf, and get some type of spark going. The support of the home fans should help also. They are much better than what they have shown.

The Giants were the better team for sure and they deserved it. Dallas Ft. Worth is all numb now, especially with the debacle regarding the Cowboys.

All due respect to Texas and San Fran members here ... I'm sure you people did care a lot.

I think ... it won't happen but i think if the World Series at least took place before the NBA and NHL seasons it might help a bit.

It would really help if it took place before the end of September.

Not going to happen but MLB vs NFL is no contest ... all day long.

Agreed. I find the World Series a lot more interesting if there is a rooting interest, for or against. This one reminded me a lot of the Detroit-St. Louis or the Chicago-Colorado series. It also wasn't much of a contest; I guess Texas used up all the good karma against the Yankees.
