Words on things I watched, read & heard

I want the most athletic guys outside of I can. In that far-fetched scenario we'd have two very athletic tackles. Two power pigs at guard that can move and Andrews. Just think that lineup would be peak for those players.
I don't understand the need to push Wynn inside. When healthy (?) he is a good left tackle, pass and run. Maybe after a year off, Cannon comes back and plays to his healthy capabilities. Move Onwenu inside. It's a good OL. Doesn't mean we don't need improved backups, particularly at OG/C. Herron was good not great but maybe that year 2 jump takes place. Cajuste Cajuste wherefore art thou. Looking to replace Eleumenor and Cunningham.

Wynn could be a better LG than LT, but he'll do at LT for now, unless and until a better one arrives from outside the building.

I want Cannon's contract off the books ASAP.

Herron is replaceable, and Cachoo is what we thought he was.

Elmanure is a good-enough 3rd RG/RT behind Mason & Onwenu and that's it, but I can live with that for what I'm sure won't be big bucks.

Don't understand why Cunningham was never given a chance at LT after Wynn was injured; Herron & especially Elmanure both sucked there.

I'm looking to replace Thanksdad Ferentz.

For what it's worth, I'm really concerned about the O-line.

Wynn is a very good LT and that is the most important position on the line, except ... that he doesn't play much. Normally, I don't like the words "injury-prone". As Mayo said, the injury rate is 100 per cent, and it's a matter of luck who gets injured when and how badly. But O-line guys carry a lot of weight and have repeated impacts at close quarters. Some have very long careers but others ... think Garcia, Jonathan Cooper, Stork.

Thuney is the only really reliable presence that the Patriots have. If he goes, things could go downhill very quickly. So I'm all in for re-signing Thuney and Andrews and keeping Cannon, if he will give the team another year, even as a swing tackle. I'm sure they'll need him sooner or later.

I agree with you, captain, that I don't want Ferentz on the field -- what a disappointment that Froholdt couldn't nail down a position as an IOL backup!

Very interesting. TB wanted him on the move. Gave up contain on occasion. TB didnt care what was happening they played the RB to get Mahomes moving and last night that wasn't a good thing.

Kyle Shanahan/John Lynch have been top tier recently but both might be approaching John Elway territory when it comes to QB's. Let's not forget Brady called them and wanted to be apart of their organization. They we're good.

I remember saying last year before he even left, he'd be the biggest or best FA in history. Something along those lines. Probably a bit of a stretch but let's go at this again shall we lol?

If you're team that truly believes you're a QB away from a championship you'd be insane not to go after Brady. Absolutely insane. All one had to do is look at recent history about all the "would be" dynasties that disappear over night. One day you're on the cusp, even in the SB. The next you're contemplating giving up multiple first round picks along with Nick Bosa for a chance at a SB.

When you can only be compared against edge rushers you know you're a bad man. Double-teamed more than anyone I believe.

Looks like a lot of players will be celebrating more than usual on St. Patty's Day.. LOL
