Content Post Words on things I watched, read & heard II

This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.
I just want to throw in there the CB position in the draft. This class has exactly the guys who would be great complements to jack jones on the outside cb position. Bigger cb with length to cover bigger WR. Joey porter or Christian gonzalez are guys I would strongly consider in the first round although i like the idea of an first round OT to boost the trenches as well as an additionally mid round OT because I think we need a new LT and RT. If we want to try to implement the zone stuff next season we could use a change on the o-line because brown is simply not performing that well and not really well suited for this zone blocking. There were several outside zone runs which were stuffed on then los because our tackles couldn’t get out there quickly enough. I think broderick jones or paris johnson or Skoronski are athletic tackles with good size to be starting tackles in the nfl. The OT in this class at the top may not be as pro ready Tackles like the years before but draft includes projection and you gotta go with the potential of drafting your starting LT. Especialy these tackles could work well on the left side with strange as both are athletic for their size
This requires some proper coaching which I think needs a real o-line coach and not Patricia.

Yeah we absolutely need another boundary CB (or Two, really); Jonathan Jones, try as he might, still looks better-suited for the slot area coverage than he does for the outside, where Diggs & Jefferson are waiting...

Are we "close enough" to start trading picks? I think we are still in building mode and should be hoarding them. Guess it depends on how far away we think we are.

When it comes to draft picks, I follow the ABHs: A Always, B Be, H Hoarding... Always Be Hoarding!

maybe worth to take a shot between rd. 3-5, i would like to add at least one WR via draft, we need to take as much shots as possible, the late rd selections are shots in the dark anyway so the should be used for skill position players imo

No excuse, as long as you have at least 7-8 picks, not to draft at least one WR, CB, OLman (especially LT) & DLman (especially ED) every single draft.

I think Jon Jones on the outside is fine, but probably better suited for a #2 to #4 WR, not covering a #1. We need 2 OTs, a FS and WR in the draft IMO. Maybe we target a #1 corner in FA like we did with Gilmore. Mills has been steady, but if we signed a #1 corner, J Jones could fill Mills role and we are much stronger. Also would love a DT in FA like Payne. Maybe we can sign a FS in FA? I have no idea, but the WRs in the 2023 FA do not excited me.

this is the best thing i have read in a while .hilarious and good that the troll himself is locked out.
But I genuinely would like to get my account back and get back to my little corner of NFL Twitter. The service has been a valuable tool over the last decade to promote my work and build a brand. It’s also a great feedback loop – once you mute and block all of the trolls, Twitter can sometimes serve as a valuable fact-checker.

Don't need a FS if they move Mills there, which is a definitely possibility.

They only need to DRAFT a WR if they completely give up on Bourne, Wilkerson, and Nixon.

I don't think they'll target a "#1 Corner". I think they have Jack Jones pegged for that position. I think they'll add a Corner in the draft for the outside, but it won't be until the end of the 3rd round.

They DO need to do whatever is possible to jettison Myles Bryant from ever seeing the field unless there are 3 corners out injured.

Well he can thank Jake Bailey for that.

Devin Duvernay has the receiving, rushing, KR, and even the rare offensive FR, but no PR. Earlier this season, Bailey got just enough to push Duvernay out of bounds after a 42 yard return to prevent the PR TD. Duvernay did actually get the TD later that drive, but it was receiving instead.

We need somebody like hm - or like the kid in Miami, Phillips - opposite Judon... Wise, Uche et al aren't starter-caliber EDs; they're rotational-to-backup-quality only.
i was never a wise fan but he stepped up his game this season against the run and pass. Sure he can be upgraded but his contract is good for his performance this season. Uche is just a specialist, i wish the pats would know how to use such speedy LB on early downs more often than two statues like bentley and tavai
