A 4th round pick is probably where I wouldn't be sure what call to make, with any better offers being an automatic take and any worse offers being an automatic leave.
He might not be a complete player, but he can contribute as a member of a rotation. He's probably closest to Uche in his role, and Uche seems to get hurt a lot.
Or a good CB3He led the team in sacks, QB hits and was # 2 in tackles for loss.
The only way I trade is for a good WR. Not another Dorsett or 5hitbum like that.
What did those 80's bumper stickers say? "Make it in Massachusetts" ... So, of course, our brethren to the north copied them and added "... and spend it in New Hampshire"Living in Mass tends to do that.
LB/EDGE
Hightower, Bentley, Judon, Van Noy, Uche, Perkins
DL
Wise, Guy, Godchaux, Anderson, Barmore
I have us with two more roster spots in the Front Six. I could see Belichick wanting someone other than Jennings and Winovich.
Options include Adams, Davis, Spence and Cowart.
People think we’ll get a 3rd for him? Lol be realistic here.
I’d rather keep Winovich. Cheap rookie contract, and does what he‘a good at very well. We don’t exactly have an endless supply of pass rushers to get rid of Chase just because “he’s a little too free spirited.” If I know I could trust Uche, I may feel differently. But I haven’t seen enough of Uche yet to know that.
I think a pass rush of Judon and Uche/Wino on the edges with additional blitz packages for KVN and Hightower sounds tastily familiar to what we saw in early 2019. Maybe even better from a pure talent standpoint.
If you cannot stop the run youre not a good defense. Our interior run defense still looks very soft.
How much of an opportunity are our pass rushers going to get when our defense can not get opposing offenses into third and long situations?

I don't think we have anywhere near the information necessary to make this judgement. The # of practices in pads, including the exhibition games, are far too few, and guys are all trying different things out during those times.
Eventually, maybe. But Barmore’s been put on skates so far against the run. Limited sample size, of course.Agree. Maybe a lot better when there is Barmore inside.
We put twice as many from group A on the field in base D than group B and it’s even more weighted that way in sub.LB/EDGE

He should be used as a pass rusher for now.Eventually, maybe. But Barmore’s been put on skates so far against the run. Limited sample size, of course.
That’s where I saw him in his rookie season when we drafted him. 3-tech sub-rusher in obvious passing situations. I suspect he will anchor better against the run as his career progresses. He should be used as a pass rusher for now.
