Meh. I think that’s a lot of money for declining production but the trade itself, dropping 7 spots, is fine.

Reinvigorated and with limited snaps per game, I can easily see him being a dominant pass rusher from the interior in our defense.

But bb is looking young or former players for the defense. And he is neither.

Don't think that's very realistic, would be theft for NE...McCoy would regain stardom here

Don't think BA is looking to deal perhaps his best player

Bucs want to dump McCoy for cap reasons. And that's also why a trade doesn't make sense, he would count for 13m against the cap for a team that traded a pick for him.

terrible trade. Giving up the equivalent of a high 4th rounder for a declining player with a $13m salary, who will only be a rotational player. If we are gonna pay someone $13m we should have just given it to Flowers.

I don't care so much about the pick but the salary alone makes it a awful trade. Could use that to extend Van Noy or Thuney. Could equally just sign Ansah or Suh or someone similar.
