I was having this argument with a friend of mine last night about whether or not the Colts or Pats will be favored to win on Nov. 4 if they are both still undefeated. I was saying that I think, even though the Pats are going to win, the Colts will be -3.5 because they are at home in the dome, which is one of the best home field advantages in sports and other than that, Vegas would consider these teams relatively equal. But he was saying that because of the Pats hype, all the betting would go on the Pats and that they would be the favorites. Obviously we are all pretty confident that the Pats will win but I can't imagine that the undefeated superbowl champs will be dogs at home in that dome. I know Dallas was, but they're in the NFC and they haven't had the opponents etc. Sorry if this has been discussed already but I'm curious what you all think.

Not right now. The Pats are 3 point favorites.

Outside of what Vegas has to say, the Colts will probably be in a better situation heading into the game. The Patriots would have been better off having their bye week right before this game instead of right after it. If Maroney, Morris, and Watson are healthy and no other significant injuries occur before then they've got a good chance. If they get banged up over the next two weeks they will probably lose.

Obviously, thing that happen over the course of the next two weeks will effect the line anyway. They'll probably remain favorites but in reality they have to go in there at full tilt to win.

There's already lines on the game? How? Where?

There are future game lines out. The one I am quoting is from Sportsbook.com. I'd guess it's pretty close to what every gaming book will have right now.

Heh, never even knew that.

Indy is already past their bye and facing back to back road games (including a short week at Carolina after JAX on MNF). They could be pretty banged up. Moreso than us after facing an 0-6 Miami and home against an NFC 'Skins complete with rookie QB.

This team has a huge score to settle for the 2006 team come November 4th. And it's a lot more talented team than the one that just lost it's last tilt in the RCA Dome.

lets wait another two weeks guys...thats all it is, jsut another two weeks

If there are no major injuries for either team before then ,then you can assume the Colts will get 1 1/2 point favorite for being the home team.

I do not expect the Colts to be underdogs,Especially if they are still unbeaten at that time.

who friggin cares who's favored?????

*in my best BB voice*

I am not concerned about the Colts game right now. Tomorrow we are going to have our hands full with the Miami Dolphins. They are good in all three phases of the game. Starting with Ronnie Brown. He can run and catch the ball. He's a very explosive back. On Defense. You've got Taylor. But if you look, its not just him. The great coverage of their secondary gives him the time to get to the quarterback. Really, in all three phases, this is a very good football team. The ball just hasn't bounced their way.

You forgot the part about them being only a few plays from being 6-0

Thats right. When you look at it, I mean 3 point games. Losing at the end like that. Its like I said, the ball just hasn't bounced their way.

many places. the Plaza downtown had lines for every game before the season started. You'll find lines at Ceasers, MGM, Venetian, The Hilton, theres a chain sports book called Leroys. He!!, I'm sure I can fine a line on if the Pats/ Colts will go undefeated. Hey, its Vegas, the only thing you can't bet on is politics and who'll die first, lindsey lohan or brittney spears
