Alright, so what are we thinking?

Will we see Edelman..............

A.) On the sideline?

B.) In the owner's box?

C.) Not at all?

Owners box

He’ll be like Gronk was last year - in the owner’s box.

Media Day isn't an option here?

Imagine if Gronk was seen at the Super Bowl...

That'd be kinda *****in actually.

IIRC Bill has every player on the roster on the sidelines during the superbowl so they feel like they are a part of the team.

Does he get a sb ring if they win? Is there a rule on a guy having to play a certain amount of pte season games? completely up to the owner?

Typically, they do, since they still attend meetings, etc. . But it is up to the team.

Gronk got a ring last year, so I suspect everyone on the team and practice squad gets one... the NFL foots the bill for 150 rings for players, coaches and front office staff.. that cost the NFL about 5.5 million..

I also remember something that the Gillette Employees also got a "reasonable facsimile" of the teams rings in the past as well, man made diamonds are substituted with artificial ones and they are gold plated if I remember correctly....

I actually had Gronk in mind when thinking about where we'd see Edelman.

After all, Gronk was on the sideline, but Gronk was at least active for a good portion of the season.

For some reason I feel Edelman being on the sideline (after NOT being on the sideline all year) may actually be a distraction. Think about it, if he's on the sideline as 'a fan' that's one thing, but knowing Edelman and his loud personality I could see him trying to motivate the team and giving some advice............and don't get me wrong, that all sounds good and well intentioned, but if you are someone like Brandin Cooks you might be thinking "dude, we've been at this all year and have obviously been good enough to get to the big game......and NOW you want to start coaching me?"

Obviously that's an exaggeration but my point is that he would be introducing a variable or distraction that hasn't been there all year. In the biggest game it's best to 'stay the course'. So I'm leaning towards the owner's box, but I also see it being too painful for him to watch that he just doesn't go at all.

So yes, I'm all over the map. I think it would be cool to see him publicly with the team again. It's too bad the season unfolded as it did for him, although at least the team on the other side is feeling at least an equal amount of pain in the injury department.

ray Lewis killed a guy

he was on the sideline. remember when brady ran for the first and he was like "Let's go Tom!"
Hmmm. I wonder what I was thinking of then? Maybe the 2012 or 2013 AFCCG?

I believe Edelman will be there. He wouldn’t miss this. No one can possibly understand, except you guys, how bad I wish he were playing.
