Will there be a separate thread for High or do we expect the same responses?

Will Edelman been seen at the Super Bowl??

Does a Bear $h!t in the woods??

he’ll be there on the sideline, which is where Gronk was last year

I have a feeling Edelman is gonna open the tunnel doors for the Super Bowl entrance. Cannon did it for the team in the divisional round, Hightower in the Conference Championship. Only fitting.

That would be awesome.

But wouldn't you have expected to have seen him at the AFC Championship game as well?

I actually had Gronk in mind when thinking about where we'd see Edelman.

After all, Gronk was on the sideline, but Gronk was at least active for a good portion of the season.

For some reason I feel Edelman being on the sideline (after NOT being on the sideline all year) may actually be a distraction. Think about it, if he's on the sideline as 'a fan' that's one thing, but knowing Edelman and his loud personality I could see him trying to motivate the team and giving some advice............and don't get me wrong, that all sounds good and well intentioned, but if you are someone like Brandin Cooks you might be thinking "dude, we've been at this all year and have obviously been good enough to get to the big game......and NOW you want to start coaching me?"

Obviously that's an exaggeration but my point is that he would be introducing a variable or distraction that hasn't been there all year. In the biggest game it's best to 'stay the course'. So I'm leaning towards the owner's box, but I also see it being too painful for him to watch that he just doesn't go at all.

So yes, I'm all over the map. I think it would be cool to see him publicly with the team again. It's too bad the season unfolded as it did for him, although at least the team on the other side is feeling at least an equal amount of pain in the injury department.
I would agree with your stay the course point if Eldeman was the type to get on a knee and start talking about beating coverages with this cut or that cut. Trying to do Bill or the coaches job though would get him told to STFU pretty quick IMO and is not the kind of guy Edelman is anyway. He is far more fire and energy "just gotta believe" "gonna be one hell of a story" "let' goooooooooooo" kind of a guy and getting that kind of energy from anywhere when it' the 4th quarter and you're tired and hurting could be helpful. Plus I would bet He's been in the film room and meetings so cooks wouldn't be like who defuq you bro? Edelman is hurt not dead and the pats are still paying him a pretty penny so might as well get what you can from him.

But wouldn't you have expected to have seen him at the AFC Championship game as well?

It just make me sick to think we never saw Cooks - Edelman and Gronk on the field at the same time this past season. Roger Goodhell would probably find a way to fine us for way we would steam roll Teams. How do you stop that?? and I didn't even mention either Hogan or Amendola in our Three WR sets.
