Mediots and the Felgers of the world will tell us we're paranoid, but for at least 9 years now the NFL and its members have been able to sell anything.
Please scroll up for a second and look at the picture of Brady. Notice the eye? That's right, that incident that had no bearing on the integrity of the game happened during the playoff game against the Ravens. The Ravens team that has thug after thug, has been able to sell the fact to the public, the NFL, and the officials that the Pats are dirty, get all the calls, and flop for penalties. Even in the mic'ed up portion of the game Suggs is telling the official that Brady fakes and is coached to fake, as the official sort of acknowledges. I think much like Spygate this act of cheating happened in front of 65,000 people, and could have affected not only the game at hand, but a man's eyes. Was this flagged? Was there a fine after the game? No, we heard that the Patriots basically cheated because the used formations that Pop Warner coaches could figure out to win.
