I've got to admit, that last tweet illustrates why I can't seem to look away from the whole Tebow phenomenon. I'm fascinated by the way he drives people nuts, the way they seem to yearn for his demise.

I think he could be worth trying as well, I just think its on the wrong team. he needed to get on as a 3rd QB in SF / Seattle / Washington or Philly. Im from Reno (moved to boulder, co) 2 years ago and saw every game that Kappy played and if you have the right skill set the pistol / read option type offense can be pretty damn entertaining and can win you some games.

The biggest difference between Kap / Wislon / RG3 is they have already shown to have better than average to great accuracy in and out of the pocket.

So far Tebow just hasn't.

There are several ways to ban someone from message boards. The one most frequently used is a user account ban. Another way to ban someone is to ban their IP address.

On a casual visit to Slime, I learned they recently have banned my most frequently used IP in addition to my user account. I had only a user account ban until I made the post I quote at the top of this comment. I have to use a proxy IP to view the drivel on the Slime board now. I may go to a internet cafe (random IPs) and register multiple times just so I can mess with them. Nah, I've got a life. I'll just register through a proxy IP if I decide I want to waste some time.

I want to take this opportunity to say Hi to our stalker from Slime's Admin/Mod bunch (probably LTJF). You know...one of the corrupt/stalker types.

I confess PatsFans.com, I broke my promise to not get personal or off topic in this thread when I replied to Joker a few pages back.

Admittedly I didn't even think about my promise until Joker made the quote above and I was about to reply. Never the less, a promise is a promise and I broke mine to you. For that, I am sorry.

For jumping at the opportunity to rub Joker's nose in it, I'm not sorry. As a matter of fact, I'm jumping at the opportunity to do it again at the expense of my word (THE promise). Opportunities like this don't happen every day...well maybe with Joker but you know what I mean.

In that you guys have let this thread go rogue, I expect to be treated with the same 'Ignore the Tebow poll thread' 'let the fur fly' attitude you guys have exhibited toward all the other 'un PatsFans.com like' comments that have been made in this thread.

To that end, I say;

You can put your little 'I gotcha' back in the box. I can explain away all your gotcha's by telling the truth and pointing out errors in your understanding of some of the words I used in those quotes of mine you found.

Btw, I am totally impressed with either your message board searching skills or (more likely) how much time you spend wading through things people shoot the bull about on message boards. It is troubling however that someone either has the time or would take the time to do that kind of wading through comments on boards they don't participate in, simply trying to find little tidbits of comments to post on a different message board for 'trashing others' purposes. But, by all means, don't let having embarrassing behavior stop you. You entertain many of us.

--The truth: I posted what Joker views as evidence knowing stalkers like Joker would read it. I was punking them and clearly punked Joker too. However, I do have other user accounts. They are for my message boards so I have accounts for viewing my boards from a member's view...which often looks different than an Admin's view, depending on the board's config. Logging out allows me to see the guests' view. Regardless, Remarker is my primary user name and any other posts that I may have made are either years old (my son and I have hosted games and had message boards for those games in the 'over 5 years ago' past) or utility user accounts for my boards (currently 2...1 is inactive). Not state of the art boards either. Just regular old freebys. No advertisements for members though.

I highlighted in red a part of what I posted that Joker is using for his gotcha evidence that is clear about my intent. I say, "Nah, I've got a life. I'll just register through a proxy IP if I decide I want to waste some time." Being able to work around firewalls is different that doing it. I didn't and don't do it. So much for being able to punk anyone else. Oh well. Highlighting Joker's ignorance is reward enough.

The second red highlighted, Joker's 'gotcha' quote of mine explained:

The truth: When Slim bans someone we can't log out and can't even see what a guests sees. Being able to read comments on their board requires work arounds. Proxy servers are one of them. I had success simply using a different browser. Evidently I was not IP banned. I was content to never post there again but I was interested in what was said as many of my cyber buddies were rippin' 'em one. Fwiw, even now I visit Slime about 5 mins. every other week...maybe, to get a laugh or two but that is the extent of my interest in Slime or the NY Jets. It's for amusement...kind a like reading Joker's comments. I would never put him on ignore...and miss all that funny stuff? It is also true that Joker is football literate and I enjoy the insight he often brings to the discussion. It's to bad he has the Trash Tim gene that interferes with him having reasonable Tim discussions.

1.)Obvious passing downs are a good chance to throw deep to catch the defense off guard. You are saying Tebow should be on the field 1st and 10 or 2nd and short? I think not. not in a million funking years

2.)1/7 -1 yard 1 interception 3 sacks in 2+ quarters of play vs 3rd stringers for a bad nfc team. Tebow is not a good QB, hes a lucky QB who can occasionally run on a defense that has holes. Tebow's winning percentage against teams with winning records is sub 50%

3.)rookie QB's are developmental qb's If you take a qb in the draft, and you dont have a solid starter, you tend to keep them to see if they show a spark to beomce the franchise starter. Russell wilson was not drafted with the intention he was going to start last year, he earned it. those other guys were drafted to be franchise guys, and in washingtons case they drafted cousins to be a backup, potentially if rg3 didnt pan out. I huge difference between keeping 3 guys that all are getting paid more then the rookie wage scale

4.)Tebow doesn't want to play tight end, Tebow can catch just slightly better then he throws. We have the best tightend in football, we have a promising rookie tight end who looks to be every bit as good as gronk was his rookie season. Tebow is not better then either of them. Heart doesnt = talent.

1) I'm saying Tebow can be a valuable asset to the Patriots who can run the read option and wildhorse and even split wide as an eligible receiver. You guys make it sound like it has to be every series no absolutely not it can be once every couple of games or when we're ahead and in cruise control.

2) Tebow-haters sound like a broken record. Tom Brady has had bad games so has Peyton Manning. Why aren't you citing the 316 yards and game winning td pass Tebow put up against the Steelers defense in the playoffs?

3) Rookie Qbs = Qbs on the 53-man roster. I'm sorry but that's a fact.

4) Gronkowski is injured, we just lost Hernandez hopefully after he gets cleared of these charges we can resign him next year but in the meantime we are lacking depth at Tight End. Tebow is a student of the game and athletic enough to make th transition. Julian Edelman was a qb and became a succesful NFL slot receiver why can't Tim Tebow?
