It’s not uncommon at all.Wonder what the odds are that neither Caley nor Judge has either played or coached the position ever before... anywhere... in his life...
The one that turned football operational decisions over to Bill Belichick.Jonathan needs to remind Little Billy which family owns the team...

I would think that Caley, in the TE coaching position, has had exposure to all aspects of the offensive game. The TE's run, block, and run downfield to receive.Wonder what the odds are that neither Caley nor Judge has either played or coached the position ever before... anywhere... in his life...
100% a sure bet.Wonder what the odds are that neither Caley nor Judge has either played or coached the position ever before... anywhere... in his life...
Nothing is different, belichick is still the best person to run the football operations. That was Then; This is Now.
Asiasi and Keene will breakout next year
After drafting two TEs and paying big for 2 more in FAcy we only got production out of one of the four. Not ideal.Asiasi and Keene will breakout next year
According to most of this board the last couple of years, Josh sucks and took a couple of no names with him and now we're in trouble. Sounds like what you would read on the Jetes board, they always blame the OC and not the sucky players drafted by the inept front office. They'll be fine like they always have been. Many coaches never played the position the coach. It’s not uncommon at all.
Belichick has always exposed his coaches to both sides of the ball and many different positions through their development. McD started in defense, Patricia started on offense.
Coaching is coaching, good coach can coach any position, and Belichick possesses all the knowledge they need to have about the intricacies of any position.
It’s a coaching STAFF not a bunch of guys operating separately.
I missed it. When was the date that Kraft's sold the team? That was Then; This is Now.
I agree , my post was a joke, @Ochmed JonesAfter drafting two TEs and paying big for 2 more in FAcy we only got production out of one of the four. Not ideal.
Ya, it’s concerning. I was listening yesterday where Zo talked about how he’s hearing Fat Matt will be the play caller and Joe Judge will help develop Mac. 2 guys with a defensive and special teams coaching history taking control of the offence and our young QBs development.Oh boy. This is going to be fun.

Are you honestly telling me that you think Bob Kraft making football decisions is what’s best for the team?
Then who?Not Bob.
