Everyone keeps talking about avoiding Pittsburgh, and I feel like no one is talking about Kansas City. If they advance to the Divisional Round that would be their 11th straight victory. They seem to be doing it with the perfect playoff formula too......good defense with a ball control offense with a good balance of running and safe passing.

KC on the road doesn't really scare me, especially if the Pats have the full squad playing.

I think the Chiefs. Yes, they are on a ten game win streak, but they haven't beat anyone. I think the Pats can shut down their offense and if they can get Edelman and Vollmer back at close to 100%, they can score on them.

Cincy can be more balanced. But then again, they have Marvin Lewis.

I think both Wild Card teams win next week and the Pats will see KC.

we have lost to crappier teams than they have beaten

Without key players who will be back in the playoffs. The Pats are undefeated this year with Edelman on the field.

true, but we have seen teams backing into playoffs show up flat........I'm hoping this is something the pats learned from the giants the 2 years the giants won the SB against us......both years, the giants sucked at the end of the regular season

Do you remember the Ravens a few years back? They really backed into the playoffs losing four of their last five and just got the Wild Card and then got Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs back and won a Super Bowl.

doesn't matter

if the pats don't improve on the OL, they are one and done
Sorry to say I have to agree. This is all kind of pointless.

They just lost two straight to non-playoff teams and the next opponent will be better than the last two.

If they cant get healthy it won't matter who they get.

right.....if the pats can get healthy and let brady get back to his 2 second drops, then there's no reason they can't at least get to the superbowl

the rest of the AFC has at least as big question marks........people are just making more of the pats issues

I'm glad mannings back......

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping they're playing possum and that in 2 weeks

I think the OL can be ok....they have the pieces to play as well as they did the few weeks after solder first got hurt......people may disagree, but the pats OL problems really started after they pulled andrews versus the bills....they were at least mediocre up to that point

I would take my chances with cincy. Let thr chiefs go to denver. I think cincy will beat the squealers.

This was my thought too. Assuming Houston is going to lose, I would much rather play home vs. Cincy then home vs. KC, rather than home vs. KC and road vs. Denver. And I don't see Pittsburgh going into Denver and winning. That defense will wither in the altitude as the game goes on.
Especially, when you consider that 3 of NE's 4 recent losses came on the road, I think the opponent doesn't matter as much as the location anymore. I'd rather play whoever it may be; KC, Pitt, or Cincy than play Denver on the road because I feel like we already play against the refs as well, no matter where we go.

You sure about that? Marvin Lewis and Andy Reed have terrible Playoffs records.

I would rather play KC. Yes- they've been winning every game. But they just don't have the same type of weapons that scare me. Guys like Green, Bernard, hill, dalton, Sanu... They can show up big and be elite for some games. I'd rather face the Chiefs.

That defense's good. They can run the football. Our run defense has been spotty

As much as the masses here hate to admit it BB and Brady have teriible record at Mile High. I know Mr Elaway is smiling right now we can only hope they get bumped off I like that Steeler Offense doing such a thing.
