I'd say Ray Lewis is a faker. He hustles, though... which is - I suppose - a measure of heart. But his fake tears for a U of Miami alumni he never played with - I dunno.

Define heart... it's just an incredibly subjective term, IMO. The way that I'd define it, the guys that are out there with the most heart are just as likely to be JAGs as stars...

Any discussion of heart needs to have Ronnie Lott in it. Cutting off a finger in the training room so he can go out there with his men? Good luck finding that in soccer.

I also think that most of the players with the most "heart" are not superstars. Most times, the most tenacious players get that way because they are NOT teriffic athletes.
